Shoulder pain?
Yesterday my left shoulder started hurting pretty bad, but it was bearable because it was sporadic. Well, it woke me up at around 4am and has been throbbing ever since. It's like a deep throb and it's now pretty constant. Movement seems to make it worse.
I can't think here I'm in so much pain, and they can't get me in at the Dr's until tomorrow morning. 3 ibuprofen didn't even take the edge off! Anything that will help? Not sure whether to ice it or use heat, because I don't know what is wrong. ARRGG!! Any of those creams or such that actually work?
Starting to get little shock feelings in the outside of my hand so I'm wondering if it is a pinched nerve or something? I write on the computer a LOT, lift at the gym every other day and am constantly picking up my kids, and roughhousing with them... Wondering if this may be a factor, Ty is 50+ lbs and I carry him around a lot (I'm 98lbs).
Anyone?

Re: Shoulder pain?
Ice and ibuprofen until you can get into the Dr. It is pretty common for dancers to have shoulder/ upper back problems due to pole work putting a strain on those muscles.
You may consider booking a massage today to help ease the tension. You probably have some inflammation, so use an ice pack 15mins on 45 mins off, and stay on the ibuprofen every 6 hours to control swelling.
