Does anybody have any good or bad experiences with the generic Wellbutrin SR made by Watson?
I've read that Teva is not as good as brand but what about Watson?

i don't have the bottles anymore, not sure which brand i have. i have white ones in 150mg and purple 200mg. i have to say, any wellbutrin is better than none, but there is a very noticeable change when i'm taking SR's and not XL's. i'd like to know the answer to this too!
I hated it. Shrink put me on it years ago for depression because she did not believe in ADHD. My wife informed me that it made me very crabby. I believe that it was the generic but I stopped taking it and changed to a different shrink. I liked my new shrink and new meds, Ritalin, much better. Just my 2 cents but I think when it comes to psych issues unless you are really fucked up you usualy know what is wrong better than your shrink and you can tell when things are getting better and things are getting worse. It really does help to have a partner that you can absolutely trust with your life and will give you their true opinion. I was fortunate that I came off of both Wellbutrin and Effexo with both no problem and no ill effects. Good Luck with the drugs and your reasons for taking them.

that's fuckin st00pid---it GIVES me adhd, which is what i need....
All generic brands of medication that are given to humans in the US have to be bio equivalent to the brand name drug and are therefor the same. I was a CPhT for 5 years (this requires pretty extensive certification for the pharmacy and requires you to have quite abit about the drugs, not just how to count by 5's lol). Hope that helped. Also XR, ER, SL any of that at the end of a drugs name all means the same thing and is just a way of saying that the drug is not absorbed by the body all at once, but instead is released in a certain time frame. Sometimes the same drugs are given different abbreviations at the end to avoid patent issues when there are minor changes to the formula.

i have to report that i've been paying full price for my XL at $25.89 per day; my insurance will cover the SR and i was on that for about a month and shit was just downhill like hell. it's so expensive, but if i go to work i can afford to buy it, which means i take it and i can leave the house to go to work. i was back to almost full blown shut-in status when i had to take the SRs. it's very hard to explain to people, they say it's the same thing but just doesn't get absorbed all at once, true but brain chemistry is a real thing and everyone's is different.
I just lost my health rx and am dreading paying full price. :(
Im taking the Watson generic and I havent had any problems. If you have any other questions please pm me and I'll help you if I can.
