Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
So I've been hearing about a couple of parties coming up, and I figured it may be a good way to add to my earnings.
I've been reading a lot about you girls taking toys, different clothes, etc to private parties and stuff, but I'm not really sure how to approach it myself, given my rural area. But my thoughts were something along the lines of-
-Bottoms stay on
-No touching the T&A (don't care about anything else really)
-Male friend comes to act as my personal "bouncer"
-Only during the week, on the usual "slow" nights at the club
Basically, just dancing and being there for show in skimpy dress.
I've thought about doing the parties for $100 the first hour and $50-75 for every hour after that. From what I've already read, it seems to be on the cheap side, especially compared to the fact that I can make $100 for roughly 30 minutes in a VIP dance. On the first hour alone, they're having me there at the party with "looser morals" than most other girls for half the price of what it would cost ITC. Not to mention the cool points they would earn for having me there, considering the way that I'm a bit of a micro-celebrity in my town, especially since I started working at the club.
What do you girls think?
Obviously, I'd give a better show for a better price, but if they want to be cheapasses, why should I go all out?
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
I've never done a private party, so I don't have advice about that (lame, I know).
However, I will say that it might be awkward for both you and your customers to give a mediocre dance. The whole time, they'll be thinking "wow, this is lame," and you'll be thinking "wow, I could do so much better than this." Ya know? I don't think it'd be very pleasurable for either party to give a mediocre dance.
I could be totally wrong, but I think that's how I'd be feeling.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
Well, it's not like I would DANCE lower than my personal par. I just mean that I'm not going to go out of my way to do anymore than I would do in the club, like playing with dildos or massages or shit like that.
I suppose I should have called this thread "Mediocre PARTY for a mediocre price" lol
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
What about offering levels of parties?
Such as :
topless dancing for only xxx per hour .....
I'm available to do lapdances for the lucky bachelor ( and guests ) at xxx per dance during my contracted time ..........
ask about prices for our naughtier shows .........
I haven't done PP's, but to advertise at a lower rate isn't false advertising ....... it's just the less explicit party .

I gotcha. :)
Still, I think you'd have to deal with a heellll of a lot of people wanting things that they haven't paid for if you give a very vanilla dance. They'll all be like "Wait...is this it?" Just my input. I could be totally off-base. :P
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
From a seasoned vet's perspective, $100 seems way too low, even for a slow club night. Should your party turn out to be a good one, and word gets out, you'll have to really haggle to get more upfront from the next. So I'd charge more up front (like $200-250). You can always decide on what else to do & charge as the night progresses. And then, if they aren't big on tipping (which CAN happen at a party!) you'll have more than $100 for your trouble.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
My husband used to work with a woman who did bachelor parties on the side. She had a minimum amount for each type of party.
The starting pay got them a basic party with topless lapdances
If they tipped x amount, they'd get a toy show, tip x amount more and they get a two girl show.
I don't know exactly how it worked, but it encouraged tipping and it seemed to work for her. The guys would get into the basic show and then it would become "If everyone puts in $20 you can see us do each other!" or whatever.
What I'm trying to say is that I think levels of parties based on pay is acceptable. I don't know if it's the norm but I do know that some people do it.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
Sorry to thread jack or whatever, but I thought you were talking about the user named "Mediocre" dancing for a mediocre price. haha. Anyone else or was it just because I hadn't had my coffee yet?
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
I think it may just be you, dear, since I believe the user is named Mediocrity.
Anyways, I like the idea of base prices for various parties. I'll be sure to sit down and come up with what I would expect for doing extra. Thanks ^_^

Whoops, dear. I know her name is Mediocrity. I wrote that pretty much as soon I woke up. Big deal.
Do you think you will really get "parties" on a Monday or Tuesday? In my experience, good ones are rare on such days.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
I didn't mean it offensively. I'm sorry if it came out that way.
But in my town, the only time "good" parties are inherently weekend events are the high school, underage-drinking type parties. Here, adult parties (the ones I'd be catering to) can occur any day of the week and are only as good as those who attend them. And the characters who make them "good" will gladly play hooky to attend a party.
The two parties that I've been talked to about so far are actually scheduled to occur on a Sunday and a Tuesday.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
You will get weird parties during the week. Parties with groups of guys are friday and saturdays. Sometimes other days if there are holidays etc. I would get $200 for you to come there for at least an hour and you'll stay for tips. Some ideas to make money that are your speed
1. Go around and do dollar dances. Tell the guys to fill your g-string with dollars and then the guest of honor has to remove them with his teeth. Be clear with him that he is to use his lips (not teeth) to take them out.
2. Lay a guy down and have guys cover him with dollars then YOU get the dollars out seductively with your teeth.
3. body shot- bring some whipped cream and cherry vodka and get creative. You can control how risque or not it will be.
4. Pussy ball. If you'll be keeping the kitty under wraps just get a cup and put it by your crotch. Have guys throw dollars in to see who makes it in. Act sexy and taunt them as men are competitive creatures.
5. to close the show you need some sort of finale.... not just like ok, i'm done. A good way to do that is by doing something special for the bachelor or bring him down and spack his ass. Bring a marker and draw something offensive on his ass. guys love that shit. then spank him for a buck a smack. Don't fuck him up too bad too fast as you want the dollars to keep flowing. Plus, you don't want to really mess someone up :)
Everything you do throughout the show should be getting you tips, even though it's not a lot. It will add up. If you're making less than $300-$400 for an hour of your time you shouldn't be doing the private stuff.
You are coming out to their location and entertaining. Don't do it for cheap.
Now, if you do nude you can do a lot more stuff and charge more $$$ for stuff. If you're comfortable with the other stuff feel free to PM me and I can give you a slew of ideas to up you $$ at your shows.
Hope this helps.
XO
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
I'm writing up the list right now to put on my blogs/notes on MySpace/Facebook. For now, they're going to be posted as "private" until I'm completely settled that I'm happy with the prices- then they'll be set to public. Here's my rough draft...
"Maybe you've seen me in the club a few times and would like me to be part of the entertainment for your next party, or you just want to throw the kind of shindig that used to be reserved for the city-boys! Whatever your reason, I'm available for private parties upon request!
Basic Party
(What you see in the club, available Sun-Wed)
$150 for the first hour
$75 for each additional hour
Free lapdance for the man or lady of honor!
Remind party-goers to bring money to get their own dances
Weekend Bash
(What you see in the club, available Thurs-Sat)
$250 for the first hour
$125 for each additional hour
Free lapdance for the man or lady of honor!
Remind party-goers to bring money to get their own dances
Games and Shows
Games played for tips
Enquire during scheduling for additional shows
Feel free to leave me a message if you'd like me to be the entertainment at your next party. Full rules, details and any additional fees will be discussed during booking. Can't wait to see you!"
What do you girls think?
ALSO!- I thought it might be good to go ahead and put the prices so high compared to my first estimate so I can pay my escorting friend/personal "bouncer" a percentage rather than add on a bunch of extra charges and risk the guy being like "Wtf? Why am I paying this guy when I want her?"
Remember, this is just the draft and can be ammended before it goes public, and I wanted to get the opinion of the more seasoned vets.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
$150 an hour for club-level dances seems super low! The champagne room in my club is $200 for a half hour, and we give air dances! Just my input. Then again, perhaps you'd prefer to keep the price low until you gain some clientele/sway in the business.
Re: Mediocre dancing for a mediocre price?
Well, the prices have more to do with scarcity in this area. Guys talk a lot of shit about liking the idea of having a stripper at their parties, but with me being the only advertising to do private OTC parties (no one else I've met has said anything about doing them) I don't want to scare them off with the notion that "it's too expensive to change the way it's always been here." Not to mention, even guys who come to the club are cheap asses. The only ones that seem to do much spending are out-of- or new-to-towners. Locals will usually spend maybe $10-20 on the dancers.
Either way though, from what I've gathered, one hour at a party will pull me roughly the same amount as the lower earning vets at work.
As for the friend coming as my bouncer, does 20% of the base charges and fees plus gas and cigarettes for the ride sound fair to you guys?
BTW- It's $100 for six songs (roughly 30 minutes) in VIP, and those are couch lap dances. To be honest, I much prefer VIP to room dances, not just for price, but because they're easier for me than those damned chairs. >_<
