Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
I am moving to Europe come January - I've lived there before but never danced there. I'm wondering if anyone has experience dancing in countries where English is not the first language but where most people speak it anyway. I was wondering about Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Portugal since these are the countries where some of my really good friends live and where I would spend a lot of time. Has anyone tried dancing in these countries without speaking the native language? Would I be better off taking a side trip to the UK to earn money?
Thanks!
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
Which country in Europe will you be living in?
How will you get visa's?
If you have an EUmpassport then that will not permit you to work in Switzerland because it isn't in the EU you will be deported.
Have you thought about these things before deciding where you want to work?
I know girls who go to dance in Portugal during the holiday season which has now ended and starts around may time. Its not the best place to work anyway.
I think language would be the last thing to worry about you could easily learn the basics!
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
Yes, she's right. In most of the European countries you won't be able to work without a real work permit. Their system is very tedious to live and work there. It's faster and works better if you have money or you're rich. They don't want you to work in their country if you're not contributing and also it takes away from their citizen jobs. So it will be hard first off to even get a work permit. I wish you all the luck.
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
I wouldnt say it is tediuos to live and work here(maybe you were talking about the work permit system), i know people from all over the world nigeria, china, kenya, japan, canada, jamacia who prefer it here but you cant just turn up and work and you have to remeber lapdancing isn't as popular in some countries and men there wouldnt pay for your services without a fight.
Getting a owrk permit would be easy if one of your parents is from a commonwealth country x

^^^^
may i also add that if you were to come to te uk on a side trip, you would be turned down from every legitimate club, if you were allowed to work after dancing for 3 months i dont think you would be able to make enough money to cover flights and accomadation, every club you work at you will need to get used to to make big money but every night you work building up to this whilst staying in a hotel will equal a loss!
would you realy want to work while on holiday anyway?
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
I worked in a Euro country where english isn't the first language, but its not a great place to dance anymore. You might want to try Germany and Italy, they can sometimes get you in under the table. There is a great club in Stuttgart Germany call Tahiti, and I am sure some of the girls working there do not hold EU papers, but cannot confirm 100%. In Italy, the guys are so horny and gropey, but they do love to chat and spend, you can make money selling bottles. Try the area around Milan. They are a huge pain in the ass though, I don't know if its worth it, ALL of them will try and take you home.

Yeah, I was refering to the work permit system. But you are right about making money there. It's not at all like working in the US clubs. Here you can make really quick money and it's more of it but in another country it's totally different in a lot of ways. I wish her all the luck with working though. It's going to be tough though and especially with the recession still at a high level.
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
I've always made big money in the uk but places in mainland europe are harder, in tourist season its ok though, switzerland is a no no though x

Are you talking about 60 pesos? I wouldn't work for pesos, that's not enough money at all for me. In the US $1 is not the only that's given to dancers on stage. Guys tip you hundred dollar bills, twenties, tens and fives. I used to make two to three hundred or more alot of times I went on stage because I always knew a lot of people. I never liked going on stage when it's not enough money in the building. Not every girl does the same thing on stage. I never used to spread my legs, I was just a sexy walker on stage. LOL. I never got on the floor or anything, I just always felt that was too much work so I didn't do it. I was always ready to get on the floor and make my money, honey!LOL;D
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
I wouldnt worry sooo much about language barriers, in the countries you mentioned the children are taught English from a very early age and usually speak it better than the English! Good Luck! x

no they dont use pesos in the uk!!!!mexico isnt isnt in europe either!!(realy hope you knew that!) dont think 60 pesos equals one dollar either!!!!!
i did say alot of girls not every single girl. there are so many threads on here about guys not tipping, trying to tip food or discount vouchers or waving dollars and asking for more(work for the dollar) its unbelievable and just as many threads on how gilrs rub their pussy in guys faces for dollars!yuk! quite frankly i find tipping on stage tacky personaly(we had this disccussion in my club and only one girl said she liked it, the rest said it was degrading picking up one dollar bills) and prefer big tips given to me over a drink or in the vip. lol
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
As far as I know the only clean safe place to work in Europe outside the UK is Paris, but Im not sure about visas, another girl on here used to post about it but said it was hard tho, Ive been to clubs in Spain and they were horrible and have heard bad things about everywhere else, the last good things I heard were all like 4 years ago now alot of places r filled with girls from eastern europe who r doin alot more, and Im not sayin that to offend anyone it's just what Ive been told anyway goodluck there still might be somewhere good left i hope u find it if there isxx.
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
Sweetie you'll be better off go-go dancing at the larger nightclubs, especially in Spain....

Yes I know that the Peso is Mexican money, that's why I asked you what were you talking about. It doesn't sound like you meant British Pound. I guess I mis-read your comment.
I think the customer you were referring to probably mislead you because I know lots of girls at more than one club who loved to go on stage because in a couple minutes they would make a couple hundred dollars off one song. Not every guy gives out one dollar bills and most girls don't move from guy to guy on stage. They dance and do tricks and guys just put the money on the stage because a lot of clubs don't allow you to spread your legs right in front of a guy, etc.
No I personally don't like dollar bills myself, Like I said I don't like going on stage either, because I always had big money guys I was always talking to. Only time I did when I danced was when I had guys that would give me hundred dollar bills not ones. I don't know anything about guys giving girls food tics for dances! Most of the clubs I've worked at back in the day were extremely upscale and most of the time when girls went on stage was to put on a show by pole dancing or with costumes. I don't think dancing on stage is degrading, if that's the case working at a club in general is very degrading! LOL. I mean, let's face it, you're in a club all day basically hustling a guy you don't know for money whether you're on stage or vip or giving table dances, wouldn't you think?
Re: Dancing in Europe where English isn't the first language?
please sweetie there are so many threads on this im not going to argue.
the tread cleary points to the fact we're talking about europe and also i mentioned im in the uk talking to a customer in england, we use british pounds and britsh pence(shortened to P)still no idea why you would think about mexico(well no idea without insulting your intelligence!).
and at no point did i say i think dancing on stage is degrading but picking up notes that wouldnt even be a note in my country but small change is,(i know gorls are struggling for small tips to try and say your getting $200 for going on stage at this time in the states would be ridiculous!) its almost like begging people throw you money i constantly see girls on here saying they get TIPS for LAPDANCES or going on stage fully nude which i find mind boggling i charge for a service its not optional to tip!
ive been in strip clubs in the states(miami) ive seen what girls do and ive read about it in here, and again for the VERY LAST TIME i wasnt talking about you personaly, if you want to stick up for girls who do those things maybe you have a reason to, i would remember though that if people see you in places where girls do disgusting things they're going to tar you with the same brush.

Excuse me sweetie but you can't insult my intelligence in no way. I know what the British pounds and pence is I've been there several times and have money from London still in my purse. There was a sentence in your thread that said dancing on stage is degrading and I wasn't making my point as you talking to me personally, ok. As far as arguing goes, I don't argue I'm just commenting on what you said so it seems like you're taking it in a whole new direction. First off whatever disgusting things you're talking about, I don't know what it is because you were referring to dancing on stage and I don't think that's disgusting. If you're talking about something else, I wouldn't know because I've never done anything disgusting and not trying to defend anyone else. You probably shouldn't be the one that's judging anyone whatever they maybe doing and especially if you don't know what their doing. So as of now, I'm so done with your DUMB comments.
