Wondering if you ladies had any advice or tricks on developing regulars out of hit & run customers?
i tell every single guy i dance for my schedule, actually keep to said schedule, give them a little hug and a free admission card and tell them to come visit me again cause i had a lot of fun with them. it works to get guys back in to see me, though i dont know if i would consider them full on regulars.
ya my biggest prob with regulars is not working when i say i will. i've had lots of guys tell me 6 months later they came in looking for me and i wasn't there. so i guess that's important. gotta get my lazy ass in gear!
^ That's important!! ;)
*Remember names. Even if they only spent a little $, it will definitely keep them coming back.
*Be polite. Some guys seem to think all dancers have poor manners and bad attitudes, so when you prove them wrong, they'll be mystified! ;)
*Set up a dancer myspace with your work schedule on it. That way if you can't work a certain night, you can update it on your page. Tell custies to check your page.
Great advice! I use a little of this myself! I do try to remember names, or at least the faces. Even if it's not my "regular", I still say my hellos when they're in the club and make small talk. Just a familiar face is great! I've also sat with customers and even if they're not spending a lot of money, I do still try to make them feel comfortable and wanting to make a return visit! Just like with being polite...manners do go a long way! I've had some complain that "dancers just sit with them and try to get all their money out of them". I try to prove them wrong. While yes, we are there to earn money, I let the customer know that I actually DO enjoy spending a little time with them and anticipate their return.
I do try to keep my same schedule, and if I may have a change I let the customers know in conversation..."I usually work Monday and Tuesday, but this week I'll be working Friday and Saturday also..."
Yesterday I did get an offer to do dances for a club regular. We talk a lot, and I mentioned that I love to cook. I brought in some food for him to taste. He LOVED it! We talked more, and I did mention that I was picking up an extra shift this week. He said to let him know and he'd come in...even spend time in the Champagne Room which is great considering he usually gets just 1-2 dances. In my opinion just little things go a long way!
^ i'm confused. you brought in this food just for this guy to taste or you happened to have it there? either way i don't think cooking for customers is a "little thing" that goes a long way. i'm sure it goes far, but to me that's a lot of effort. but then again i can't and don't cook so.
but i'm glad he will come back and get a room with you, you go girl! :)
Finally! Now I know what to do with all my leftovers! Give it to customers :D I'm going to clean out my fridge!
I'm a cam stripper so it's a lil different, but the keeping to the schedule is really important. If a guy comes looking for me and I'm not there he's gonna either be butthurt or go see another girl or both. So I try hard to show up every night and tell any guy I've been talking to with any sort of regularity if I'm gonna be gone a few days or something.
Remembering names is easier on cam since their name is right there, but I try and make lil notes about the ones that seem to really like me, like Sam.. in his fifties, from Baltimore, kinky nurse fetish, etc. Then when I see them again I'll make a flirty lil comment regarding one of his interests and he will know and be happy that I remembered him.
Also when I'm not dancing or teasing or doing anything particularly sexy and we all are just hanging out, I try and be as funny as possible and laugh a lot, sometimes get a good inside joke going, that way we are having fun and it builds a deeper relationship than just me showing my tits and hopefully that relationship will keep them coming back for more. It's been working so far, I've only finished my first week and already have a couple guys who I've danced for more than once.
Hope that helps!
