Dancers fighting over regulars
I recently returned to my old club after moving away for a few years which is sort of like a neighborhood bar with go go dancers, very small and you don't make much money unless you try and sell some laps which few of the girls do. ( there is only one lapdance booth) another veteran, had returned also and she has always considered herself the most popular dancer there, she always hustled laps.
I have stepped my game up while I've been away and become a much better hustle and have been selling almost as many dances as she does, to some of the same customers she dances for ( that I also knew from before and some new ones too.) yesterday a custy she was sitting next to with another girl tipped me after I went up and said thank you after my set ( i do this to everyone whether they tipped or not). I also introduced myself and then left. when my next turn came I did the same thing and he tipped me again, this time I told him I like the shirt he had on- which I did.
She got mad and said I was stealing her customers like she owned them and that i should back off when she was in the club because most of the guys were there to see her! Then she tried to explain that she knew them longer, went on dates with them and had called them on the phone to come in and i reminded her that many of the girls call customers, myself included etc and one popular guy might get a call from 4 or 5 girls at the club... also that a guy could dance/ talk to whoever he wanted , no one was putting a gun to anyone's head and there was probably enough money to go around ... If I were sitting with a guy and she came up I would'nt mind because i don't the guy , I fiugre he's in the bar he's fair game for everyone unless he says i'm only here for her etc.
We weren't close friends but we were friendly before ... I would prefer not to work shifts with her now but she has been adding more and more shifts so it happens.
How would you or have you dealt with these dancers that think they own certain customers??/:O
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
Hmmm... what you just described is the one thing I really dislike about stripping in clubs (I'm trying to get into webcamming now): OTHER GIRLS. I swear, I can handle guys. It's catty women that freak me out. I'm not sure what you should do, I've been in similar situations before and simply backed off but had I been more aggressive, perhaps I'd have made more money. At some places though I feel like messing with another girl's regular would have gotten me jumped in the parking lot after work.. I think it depends on the club. I agree, she doesn't own any customers, IMO no matter how long someone has been someones regular, if you come in as a new girl and he chooses to spend time with you, that's his choice, hey that's the way the game works. Just watch your back from these crazy bitches.. it doesn't sound like she's THAT bad but you never know. If it were me I'd probably just avoid her as much as possible and keep doing my thing. Sorry I don't have better advice, I really have only stripped in clubs off and on because of things like this and because where I used to live there were only really, really ghetto clubs in the area.
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
I don't really have any regulars, because I don't particularly encourage it. I don't like them having my info, and the idea of getting a separate cell phone just so I can text them and tell them when I'm working seems just a little weird to me. I don't lead guys on, and I'm not good at it when I try. That said, I used to have two or three very casual regulars--they weren't big spenders by any means, but I could rely on a hundred or so from them on a regular basis. Well, another girl started to steal all of them--and by "steal" I mean she will go and sit with them for hours, on their laps, so no one else can even say hi, and then she'll take them in the back and give them rather dirty dances--letting them grab her ass and possibly her vag, etc. And it's hard to compete with that. I haven't seen any of those guys in a very long time. It's upsetting to have to worry about that kind of poaching.
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
Ugh yeah... competing with "extras" girls is a whole other thread.
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
Let her escalate. The customers will see it and get pissed, not wanting to have wife at the club. Shes already working more shifts, that means she's making less money. The more shes there the more board custys get, and voila, if theres no money they leave.
You just keep on being you. Don't worry about the drama, it's not really there after all.
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
To me she is over reacting but I would still wait until a customer is available to thank him unless it's a quick "hey thank you" when you're walking by.
The other day someone walked across the club (big club!) and tipped me. When he was finally alone I sat next to him and said "hey thank you for the tip earlier. We were both kind of busy but I still wanted to thank you."
When other girls are sitting with customers I know, depending on how long I've known the custy or how well I know the girl I keep my distance. It's their chance to hustle and nothing is worse when someone breaks that "trance" when you are just about to take them into the VIP. Unless you have an appointment or they don't say they are waiting it should be an issue between dancer and customer not two dancers. Unless of course the other one is blatantly and full on cock blocking (which I didn't see you as doing) which is totally different.
She is in the wrong to tell you off. It's up to the customer to tell you that he is waiting for her specifically. If he doesn't say anything then he's fair game.
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
Fighting with fellow dancers is ridiculous and a WASTE OF TIME. If you have time to fight with another girl, you're not focusing and doing your job.
When customers see girls getting into fights, they DONT want to deal with it. This loses customers and makes the girls look bad. Not to mention give us the reputation of being crazy bitches the world already thinks we are..
There's a girl at my club who has said to many girls in front of customers "He doesn't want you, he wants ME". She also has screwed over waitresses and fought with her fellow employees many times. Such a bitch. This only makes her look bad in front of customers and has lost her vip rooms and customers (Karma!).
"Claiming" customers, is ridiculous. No customer is YOURS or MINE. Yes, we all have regulars, but the more we work together the better the entire club will be.. When a guy feels like property, chances are he'll lose interest anyway. Unless he is totally stuck on you, in which case you don't need to claim him b/c he's not going anywhere anyway.
The most insane thing I've seen is two strippers literally fighting together. We've all had issues, you put that many girls under one roof you are going to have issues. But two girls in 8 inch heels and a two piece bikini trying to brawl is just silly..
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
I agree with everything the OP has said except one bit. If another girl approaches a guy while I am in the middle of hustling him I get pissed. even if it's just to say hi/thanks or whatever I think its rude.

so, what do you do if you have to compete with girls who do "extras"?
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
On the other side of the fence, I witnessed my first customer claiming a girl this week. He sat at the bar closest to the dressing room, absolutely refused to let anyone sit next to him (in avery rude way, not just a "oh I'm waiting for someone" but a "YOU CAN'T SIT HERE GO AWAY" and waited for this one specific girl to come out and practically pulled her down into the chair when she came out. Then he would give dirty looks to any guy who so much as bumped into her trying to squeaze by the closely-arranged tables. What an interesting old man...

I'd have said, "Screw you, geezer."
Re: Dancers fighting over regulars
I've never fought over anyone, but i've been cock-blocked by a girl at work when I was in the company this guy who sees her regularly(or maybe saw her one time ::) ). I sensed that he got annoyed also. It was fucking rude.
Just remember, no one belongs to anyone. Customers are entitled to spend thier money on who ever the fuck they want. AND, every girl has an expiration date. He will get sick of your ass one day, eventually... no matter how hot you look & great your personality is. ;)
