Pussy plentiful and money is tight; enjoy the times.
Nothing to gloat over though. We're all just a bit of bad luck away from hard times ourselves, and may find ourselves tempted to do things we don't want to do to pay the bills. Sucks.
Enjoy the ban, everyone.
Earl can now be found at www.theybannedme.com }:D
Boy, this line from TBM sure sounds like a page out of a certain site's recent history:
Btw, sorry, Earl, apparently Blue is now Pink Lite.Quote:
- Most importantly: Get rid of the lying, cuntish, backstabbing, paranoid rules and policies. STOP reading member PMs like a butthurt loser, STOP banning people for what they say on OTHER forums, STOP prohibiting people from doing to mods what you allow them to do to regular members (i.e. flaming), STOP having two sets of rules (one for mods, one for everyone else), and brush your fucking teeth.
CP
I can see Earl's OP. Not sure why he edited it. It was just a bit more coarse.
FBR
Why was Earl banned? For the original post of this thread? If so, that's crazy and stupid.
I'm only guessing, but Earl's posts up in pink were increasingly uncomplimentary towards dancers. He coupled that with a habit of posting/bragging about how much contact he could get for minimum outlay. Neither was guaranteed to endear him to the majority of the dancers posting up there.
I suspect he got his ban for an accumulation of offenses, plus not respecting the unwritten rule about pink being mainly for dancers, with the male of the species required to use a little discretion in their posts.
I'd don't think he got banned just on a whim.
Phil.
I liked Earl, he was amusing.
^^^ you might not find it so funny when you're actually a dancer
I'm not saying he'd be funny in person, I'm just saying that I understand him. I've been a member of a local car forum for three years and I would always say things that pissed people off just to get a rise out of them. It's just the internet, not to be taken too seriously. I've calmed down since and I've dated 5 or 6 people off of that forum, hell my current boyfriend is a moderator on the forum, and to be honest no one I've met in person who I knew from the forum was anything like their internet persona. Most of them were nice people, not idiot douchebags. I'm sure Earl is cordial in person, maybe he just likes to drink?
I don't want to be confrontational, but that's pretty immature. It gets tiresome when you're not a teenager anymore.
His posts were not conducive to what it supposed to be a supportive environment for dancers where we can get away from being called names and reduced to ugly stereotypes. If you don't find it irksome or hurtful that probably has to do with the fact that you haven't been a dancer yet and don't know what it's like to have to deal with that every day at work. Maybe then you would know how frustrating it would be to also have to deal with it in the one place that's supposed to be a relief from that.
He brags about getting desperate girls to do things they wouldn't normally do due to financial hardship. Maybe you find that funny but I find it sad and disgusting.
I got enough emotional and physical abuse working in Las Vegas. I don't need that horseshit on a site that is meant to be supportive.
I'm sure he isn't cordial. In fact, I am convinced he is a dirty, bearded, lecherous creep who takes advantage of women in precarious situations.
And seriously- who says shit like he does? Get a hobby. Trolling the internet is lame as hell.
I can see him being banned from Pink but not Blue.
^^Well I'd like to apologize because I haven't talked to him often or seen those rude types of posts. I don't come on the blue side much and the only real interaction I've had with him was about his mustang in the picture post. I wasn't trying to be immature or rude and I'm sorry that he said those rude, mean things. I was unaware he crossed those kinds of lines.
Do you really have to freak out on me? I said one sentence. If you didn't notice I also apologized because I have NOT witnessed Earl's rude statements and I was unaware they were happening that way. I have only interacted with him a few times but found him to be funny when I did talk to him. It isn't a crime for me not to have gotten a negative impression of him, so calm down.
Is this due to Earl's post about somebody being an idiot for a dancer inviting him to take her to dinner, and then spending a bunch of money on her at her club on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and nothing happening. I think it was Nato, but I'm not sure. Is it the straw that broke the camel's back or is there more to this?
If its an accumulation of years of disgust with Earl, well, I don't know anything about his previous posts. I've seen trolls before, but if trolls are left alone, they typically go away because no one pays any attention to them after a while.
If this is an issue where a couple of pinks are offended, well, I've seen this happen to numerous forums online for various topics. Unfortunately, the winners are the ones that scream and cry the loudest to the mods. if this is the case, well, the mods are the ones that would answer that question.
Personaly opinion: The pinks that have a bad attitude need to get over the nasty attitude that they have. I can complain about some of their backlash directed at me, but I don't. Having said that, there are a couple of pinks that have the right idea. Unfortunately, the right ideas typically get drown out by screaming and complaining.
Pinks: There are customers you will like and customers you won't. There are other pinks you will like and ones you won't.
Blues: There are dancers you will like and dancers you won't. Its kinda like GenWar's rules.
I would suggest everyone get over any perceived attitudes.
Seriously? Seriously? Every job is a headache. I deal with crappy people all the time, and no my business doesn't involve customer service. There is no shortage of jerks in any business. You should be glad you were not in my shoes for a few events I've been through or you'd be in jail for murder. Sometimes its best to just let things go by.
Seriously? LOL. Her point was yes, we deal with crap just like any other job, but the last place we want to deal with it is here, a forum to support dancers. I can let a lot of shit go by when I'm actually at work, but when I come on here I want a break from that.
