I was just curious if anyone else pretty much ignores trying to sell VIP/Private rooms? At your club do you really make more money by doing them? If not, what is your reasoning behind trying to sell them?
At my club..
VIP is 160 for a 1/2 hour (and the dancer only gets 110 of that). A 1/2 hour is roughly 10 songs. 10 songs on the floor would equal to 200 dollars. On the floor, I would "keep" all of that 200 dollars (cept for tip outs at the end). For this reason, I don't push VIP very often. Unless I feel like the customer might tip really well or he brings it up himself.
I swear, if/when a guy DOES ask about VIP and I tell him the price, he's like "omg thats so expensive" and when I try to explain that it's actually CHEAPER... they never ever ever believe me. They think I'm trying to scam them. Which, is actually fine by me, because I'm like "well we can just do dances out here" and then they wind up getting 100 bucks worth of dances.. which is 5 songs. Which is 1/2 the amount of time I would have to spend for that money in VIP anyway. Not to mention they "expect more" back there most of the time.
I was just wondering if my case is rare. Meaning how the prices of our rooms compare to that of other clubs and what the dancers actually get out of that.
