Re: Asking about Walk-around Tipping
We don't do walk around tips at my club. If they want to tip you, they will come up and do it. However, if this is what you want to do then I would just go up to a nice looking custy and start chit chatting small talk and stuff. Then ask them if they saw your stage set. If they said yeah, then ask them if they thought it was good. If they are not a total jerk, then they will say yes. After they say yes, then say oh well don't you think I deserve a little tip? while holding out your garter or thong strap. They almost have to tip you.
I wouldn't suggest that though. I would try more to sell dances. When a customer does come up on stage to tip you, show them a little attention. Lean over and whisper in their ear if they would like you to come see them for a dance when you get off stage. Most will say yeah, some will say maybe. You should be able to just by their reaction whether or not they will actually buy a dance and whether you should waste time trying to get one or not.
Re: Asking about Walk-around Tipping
I hate tip walks, but if the customers are used to it than go with it. I use the like "Would you like to tip for the show?"
Re: Asking about Walk-around Tipping
I would be against tip walking and would avoid it, but like I said, these girls got almost 100% of their tips from tip walks. I saw maybe 3-4 dollars on stage for a set, while she walked away with a fistful of $1s in a tip walk. Plus it is expected from the club.
Re: Asking about Walk-around Tipping
^^^ Are you dancing in the Midwest by any chance? It seems to be more common up there.
Re: Asking about Walk-around Tipping
I've danced in DC, where there are no lap dances or private rooms or anything. All the money the girls earn is either from the stage, where guys go up and tip in garters, or by walk around after. I think its doable if the customers expect it. At that club, the girls do their "rounds" by going to every single customer and saying something to the effect of "thank you for watching me dance" or introducing themselves. Most guys know they are supposed to tip a couple bucks (some tip a lot more - $5, $10, $20 etc... I've only made more than that off of a customer by sitting and talking to him for awhile, and most of the guys know they are supposed to tip a girl for sitting there for a bit). Some of the more pushy girls come up and say thank you and hold open their garter so the guy really has no choice but to tip her.

Yes, I will be. I haven't auditioned yet but I will be at Michelle's Beach House which is on the border between Wichita and Derby, KS.
