how can u make money at this club?
So the house fee is $60 either day or night shift. If you come after 6:30 at night or want to go home early, they add another $20. So they sell 5 for $50 dances called VIP dances. You have to take the customer to the bartender, he gives her the money and you get a ticket. They said two of these about pays your stage fee. Then VIP's after that the club gets $15 for every $50 and the bartender get's 1$ every dance. The DJ get's 10%, VIP get's 5%, door guys get 5% and manager get's whatever you think is fair. Looks like you would have to do 25 dances to walk with $100 bucks, am I missing something?????????
Re: how can u make money at this club?
Do you make bank on stage? That seems like the only money you'll really make at this club. Are there any other ways you can make money, like floor dances or another level of VIP?
Otherwise, I recommend finding a place where you can actually make more than minimum wage.
Re: how can u make money at this club?
Talk about fleecing of girls. I briefly worked at a club like this and I didn't work long. You ended up paying more in house/tip outs than you took home. I'd look for another club because that doesn't even sound like you could make decent.
Re: how can u make money at this club?
Gosh. That's a lot of money. Maybe you should do private shows instead, and forget about that club.
Re: how can u make money at this club?
yes what you're missing is that when the club 'pays out' your own money when you turn in your tickets, they are keeping track of the total ... and will probably send you and the IRS a 1099 form next February for the total amount of money thus paid to you as income. Thus if the club's 1099 shows a $35 payout to you per $50 VIP, at the very least you will wind up paying another $7-$10 per VIP in income taxes !
It also remains to be seen whether the IRS will consider your additional tips to the bouncer, VIP host, bartender etc. as legitimate 'business expense' tax deductions versus 'voluntary gifts' on your part.
I agree that the setup and net earnings potential at this club sucks ! Throw in the potential for large income tax surprises, and I vote to move on ... quickly ... to a different club.

Anyone making money at this club is negotiating a large tip for extras in the VIP room.
Re: how can u make money at this club?
Zofia, that's exactly it. The VIP room is so dark. That's how the girls are making money by charging extra for extra. This place does have that kind of rep.
