Stripper Costumes/ Outfits: What do you look for?
Hey Ladies
I am looking into starting my custom made dancing gear brand because i often found sex shops and specialist stores sometimes lack costume choices i would want eg gstrings with clips on the side or velcro fastening and underwire padded support as well as lack of lace and burlesque inspired outfit.
im hoping to taylor the brand to fit every strippers needs so i would much appreciate some feedback:
1. what style of costumes do you enjoy dancing in?
2. what style of costumes bring you the most money?
3. what style is on your wishlist that you havent found anywhere?
4. how would you improve current outfits?
5. any other comments you can think of eg. materials, trims, photos, links etc
thank you!

The ones that come off and on easily, if not I feel akward all night. Something unique so I dont feel like I am blending in with the masses.
2. what style of costumes bring you the most money?
Costumes that glow, but not too clown-like either. Flattering, sexy, but not giving away too much for free.
3. what style is on your wishlist that you havent found anywhere?
Corsets that are easy to put on and take off quicky.
Gowns/dresses with a small amount of push-up.
4. how would you improve current outfits?
Make them stain proof
5. any other comments you can think of eg. materials, trims, photos, links etc
Nothing too cheesy stripper or cliche

Girly, feminine, lingerie style costumes. I like frills, lace, rhinestones, fringe, bows, etc. In colors that are bright enough to be eye catching in the club, but not neon.
2. what style of costumes bring you the most money?
Costumes with classic girly elements like I listed above. tiny skirts (like garter skirts, but I like them to have removable garters) are the most popular with my customers.
3. what style is on your wishlist that you havent found anywhere?
Those old burleque style skirts that wrap around the waist and hang down in the back but leave the thong in front visible. I'd also like a nude colored thong with rhinestones, either in a design just lower down by the crotch, or mostly/completely covered in them. Same with black thongs with rhinestones too. They go with evevything but add a little pop to the outfit.

I definitely agree with you on the bras with a little more shaping. I'm a small girl, so underwires and/or some padding to give the top some shape is a must, be it's hard to find tops like that. I wish dancer triangle bikini tops were made more like so many actual bikini tops- with the removable shaping.
I'd like to see costumes in smaller sizes. It seems ridiculous that no one is doing this, since there are so many tiny girls dancing and I hear other girls complaining all the time that they can never find anything that fits right, at fredericks and even VS. And dancer wear shops are even worse. I'm 32-24-32 and I have an especially hard time finding bottoms and outfits that hug my waist and hips.
thank you!

thanks guys!
im currently really liking the nude g with rhinestones idea, its very dita von teese.
and i feel u on the easy to remove part - wish my lycra hotpants were not such a pain to take off..
Re: Stripper Costumes/ Outfits: What do you look for?
Most sexy stuff bought in shops aren't made to be worn! Stripper wear needs to be comfortable and durable. The other big challeng for dancer wear is that it can be taken off and put back on quickly, easily and still looking elegant in the process.
I think nearly every theme has been done. The most popular ones with customers are the "position of power" ones- army, police, nurse, teacher etc.
