ok so i am going to start dancing in vegas because there is no money where i am at....i already lost my house and am about to lose my car.....there is only two clubs where im at that allow under 21 girls to dance and neither have money i was working at both. anyways i cant find anywhere except riviera that allows under 21 to rent a room and riviera was like 250 a night....any one know of anywhere? plz?!
Re: plz read really need help....
if you are not from vegas then working there will cost you $. Licensing, sheriffs card, intense # of girls.
Where r u at?
Why not use a dancer agency?
Why not try a dive bar in a neighboring state w/a cheapo room. U could bank w/o losing $.
Re: plz read really need help....
I agree with cadencetyme, you might want to contact an agency. At least then you won't have to pay for a hotel since most of the time the club pays for that.
Re: plz read really need help....
I sorta hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've been an under-21 dancer here in Vegas for almost 3 years.
We aren't doing too hot down here. Juuuuuuuust so you know. Clubs are turning girls away at this point, and you REALLY have to be at the top of your game to get a job, unless you're willing to work in a sub-par club. I'll tell you what I know, though.
As far as renting rooms under 21, you aren't going to find anywhere on the strip. Try the "station" casinos - Palace Station is located just off the strip, so it's easy to get to Strip Club Row from there. Wild Wild West is another "locals" casino/hotel that's nearby.
You have to get a Sheriff's card. You can't have any warrants, any outstanding traffic tickets, no prostitution on your record. Nothing like that. The fee is $55. You have to be fingerprinted. Make sure you have your birth certificate AND your ID AND your SSC with you.
The best club money-wise I've worked in is Deja Vu. It's not easy to get hired ... they're turning girls away for night shift now. House fee is $70 per night. Don't bother with Sheri's or Little Darlings. Little D's is a nice enough place, but you have to win their amateur contest to get a job, and it's not easy. It's a popularity contest, so if you try - bring a TON of friends and spend time at the club getting to know the dancers. Sheri's has no business right now. STAY AWAY from Can Can Room, Pussy Cats, etc.
You can try Palomino, but good luck. The manager is an ASSHOLE, and there's not a lot of money to be made.
You're more than welcome to PM me - between my roommate and I, we're danced at LITERALLY every 21- club in town. I'm more than happy to help you get pointed in the right direction, but don't expect to be making a whole lot down here if you try. :-\
