So, I was wondering how many of you guys use the bait and switch.
For those that are unfamiliar with the term, basically the bait and switch is you say you will do something, then not deliver. a simple example: If we go in the CR, i can give you a blowjob. then you get the money, go to the CR, and say "sorry, no blowjobs here, ill get fired."
i made the poll anonymous.
im just curious. ive been tempted to use it on several occasions, but quite frankly, the idea of pissing a customer off then spending an hour in a room with him is really unappealing. plus, i consider it a pretty dishonest sales tactic. but, on the flipside, i have met some customers who really do deserve to be conned out of their money.
and it also seems like a lot of girls at the clubs are using them these days. At an old club i worked at, i had one customer bitch to me about a girl who took him to the CR under the premise that she would make out with him, then didnt deliver. i also talk to customers now who are like "oh, well so and so promised that you can get nude up there (i only work in topless clubs atm)." I am not sure if so and so actually made that promise, and if they did i am not sure whether they planned to deliver or not.
i made 5 options... to clarify each option-
1. you dont use the bait and switch. all of my sales are very honest. customers never expect more than i deliver, and if they do, its because they are stupid... i didnt say or imply or insinuate that i would do extra.
2. you very seldom use it, and only in special occasions. maybe you are having a really rotten day. I checked this option... if a sweatpants loser comes in i will sometimes promise more than i deliver, but i only promise this in the lapdance area since that way security is around and has my back
3. you use it, but you only imply what you will do-- meaning you dont outright say that you will do an extra, but you definitely do imply that naughtier illegal things will happen. to clarify, ill try to give examples: they ask if they can get a blowjob, and you say with a wink and a smile,.. well i cant tell you down here, but if we go up there. you didnt promise the blowjob, but you hinted that you would do it. Or maybe you work at a topless club and say "well down here i absolutely have to keep my bottoms on, but in the Champagne rooms the bouncer is not around to enforce this." this goes beyond the standard sales tactic of implying more intimacy and fun and privacy in the CR (since IMO, those are delivered just by being alone in a room with you) but is not as direct as explicitly stating things you wont do. Basically after the customer pays for hte room, he expected more than you deliver AND with good reason.
4. you explicitly use the bait and switch. This would be you saying "there is sex in the champagne room" then you get to the CR and your customer realized he should have taken Chris rocks advice-- which is, of course, "no matter what a stripper tells you, there is no sex in the champagne room."
5. you deliver-- you either promise or imply that you will do an extra, then go through with it. **Dont flame me for putting this option in here, we all know that a lot of girls (maybe not as many on SW) do fall into this category, so i figured it needed to be included. and i did make the poll anonymous.
so yea, im curious as to how much this tactic really is used.
