Am I realistic about Tampa?
Hello, everyone!
Thank so much to everyone on this forum, it's been absolutely wonderful in getting ready to go back to adult entertainment.
I just moved to Tampa and am now thinking about starting to dance around here. My first choice is Thee Dollhouse, but I'm comfortable commuting to any pastie clubs. My question is, am I realistic about the amount of money I can make here? It seems from some of the more recent posts that Tampa is not doing so well for dancers, a bit of a slump. I work for my family right now and need to get back to something that is more fun and less corporate/soul-crushing and make enough money to actually get by. Can I make 3k or more a month in a pastie club in Tampa? I'm too afraid to leave my job unless I know that that's a reasonable expectation. Thanks for any insight!
In Chicago I was a domme in my own studio. Never danced before.

I have only been in this club once. It was busy until last call on a weeknight. ALL the girls are gorgeous so there is stiff competition. If you have the goods, you will make your goals at this place.

Have a great week!

Re: Am I realistic about Tampa?
Hi! Just saw this, but we've already met now. ;) Again, sorry you had to meet me under such bad (just in car accident) circumstances.
Now, as for what I think you can realistically make. You're on dayshift right now and like I told you before.. you -can- make that much.. but I doubt you will be able to do so right away. My suggestion is to work 3-4 dayshifts every week and you will be able to work Saturday nights if you want.
3k is not unreasonable if you work at LEAST 4 shifts total a week, but if you work any less than that, it's going to be more difficult. As you've probably seen, we have A LOT of girls.. esp on night shift. I'm sure you've walked down for the 2-4-1 at 8oclock and noticed that there are 30 girls and maybe 3 customers.
My best advice is to give it at least a month. That way you'll get a better feel for which you like working.. days or nights. Everyone is different.
Judging from the small amount I talked to you, you seem to have your head on straight and you're a good conversationalist. That already gives you a great head start on dayshift.
Re: Am I realistic about Tampa?
Thanks so much, Pretty_Penny! It was just scary to get such a depressing explanation from the DJ that day, who I will continuously repeat, was *not* trying to be shitty, but was just giving me his opinion when he asked me how much I wanted to make.
You've been such a big help here and at the club, I really appreciate all the girls there showing me around and helping be where I need to be for all the reviews, etc. It was a lucky break to end up at this club, for sure.
And when finally meeting you, you seemed to have your head on straight too even in the midst of a complete disaster. I'm sure no one can have the right words to make it all better, but you seem like the kind of girl who will slug it out and get back on your feet the best way you know how, by working hard and smart. Best of luck, Penny!

^Ill say it again though, if his opinion was that you cant make 3000 a month, he is wrong. I mean, yesterday we probably had 50 customers and 5 girls. I did pretty good, a few of the others did not, but they werent really working. You just have to capitalize on the opportuniy WHEN you have it.
