So my next goal is to start my own website. I already bought the domain and took care of all the hosting stuff and was planning on doing it myself. I was planning on making it a pay subscription site focusing more on camming, as well as pictures and videos. I don't know jack booty crack about webdesign so I've been dragging on even starting it.
Anyway, lately i been checking out sites like,
where you can sign up to be a model, maybe pay some fees (i'm not even sure how this all works), and they'll create your site for you and I guess help you with updates and stuff. But yes, I don't know how this works. Some seem like they just want you to pay the 750 fee for starting a new ccbill or epoch account. Some seem like they do revenue sharing. Also got an email from this guy. If anyone can read it and tell me what they think.
"Hey there Mitsuko,
so I just came across your blogspot (which is where I got your Gmail from), and shakinit profile, where I noticed you recently started posting videos over there.
My profession includes the creation, design and maintenance of websites and graphical content, and I'd basically like to make you your own website if you're interested in having your own.
This would mean having your own playground, your own WWW. You can pretty much do anything on it including cam shows (and charge per minute), post videos, post pics, whatever you want.
Of course, you would be able to charge people to become a member (every month, recurring), in order to view your content. And members would be able to purchase credits for camshows etc.
I'm willing to cover any costs that come with this, including server fees / hosting fees, and creation costs.
So, if you're ready to have your own playground / "superstar site" with a bunch of features, let me know and I'll get started.
Also, if you want to see some work I've done in the past such as similar sites or graphical content, let me know, I'll be happy to show you.
Greets,
Detlev Joshua"
and then after i asked a few questions he responded with:
Hello again,
First off, no problem! To answer your questions, basically payment processors such as CCBILL / EPOCH etc, charge a 750 dollar VISA registration fee, in order to accept VISA credit cards for new websites, I would cover that for example. The primary payment processor I use is Epoch.com -- so your website would be able to accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, etc etc. I also use "backup" processors in case the member's card gets declined at the first processor.
Lets say we could charge the member $25 per month. 250 members sign up in the first month; 250 members x $25 = $6250 total income for the first month (excluding cam purchases, with cam purchase it easily double that amount). We split the total income 50/50 -- and my part covers my hours of creation, continues updates, the hosting costs (hosting for cam server included), support for when members throw a fit, etc etc. --- and the other half goes in your pockets.
Besides me doing updates and maintenance, I'm also able to provide an easy way (administrative access) for you to add videos, photos, and any content you want.
You'll also get administrative access for financial overview, statistics, login-logs; pretty much everything you can imagine.
Here's one of my most recent projects; DaddysKitty.com, currently close to 400 members and counting:
And here's a few more random snapshots / graphical:
The problems that I would have with that is... It's hard for me to stomache sharing 50/50. Is this standard for this kind of situation? I just really want someone to start up the site for me, and then like.. leave me alone lol. I can figure out some web design stuff, or atleast will know how to work with it if it's set up.
So i don't feel i would need to pay anyone for, continuous updates..in fact i dont even want anyone to have access to my site to update lol.
The big obstacle for me seems to be creating the website and setting up the processor for subscriptions. Would it just be smarter for me to figure out how to set this all up myself and just pay the 750 fee to the processors? That'd definitely be less than 50%. Or is sharing that much revenue pretty much normal?
I mean, if I have to share 50% revenue with someone, wouldn't I rather share it with one of those websites i mentioned above who have more professional looking sites and a more professional running business?
Okay.. sorry this was so much, i'm just really excited about all this, but i want to do it right and the most profitable way that i can. if anyone has experience with this please let me know. thank you
