I didn't read the whole thread yet, but there is a good chance this person already took screen shots, most everyone I know knows how to do that.
Blackmail can be illegal under certain circumstances. Even if this person isn't jailed, there is a good chance if they go forward with it, you can sue civilly. IP addresses can be traced. Wonder if this person knows this?
I might consider contacting local authorities if this person keeps pressing for payment.
If I were you, I'd tell dear old dad that an ex-boyfriend posted some pictures of you online as a joke (if the NF pictures were the kind that would have fit in on a dating site or a facebook profile, you can say they were stolen from there*) and they ended up on a phone sex/cam site. Tell him some guy that was looking on there recognized you, and since he already knew who you were, started sending you messages online, threatening to blackmail you, threatening to tell him you were doing "all this cam sex stuff," etc.
Tell him you already got in touch with the site (since this crazy stalker guy mentioned the name of the site in his message) and had the pictures taken down. Go ahead and take legal action against stalker guy yourself (and let your dad know you've done so), that way he won't try to help out and end up finding out any of the legal details that would contradict your story.
This way, no matter what the harasser says or does, he's the bad guy, and if he does try to say anything to your dad or his friends, well, your dad has "the truth" prepared to clear your name.
Good luck.
* There actually was a string of "girls" using stolen Myspace photos to start Princess accounts a while back, so there's some truth to the story.
