When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
Hi ladies,
Ok. Been researching through the posts and cannot find the answer.
I'm a newbie to camming and will most likely start on streamate for the reason that at least I've read good things about it paying ontime and overall good things about it in the forums.
My question is..from looking at different cam sites..I see girls talking it up to guy and getting the guy to go to private chat. But that's me only seeing a few of the conversations since I'm not signed up as a paying guest/or paying customer.
- So at what point do you discuss your rate since its not on your profile page?
- When do guys ask your about your price typically? And do you change your price often depending on what he's asking for?
- Also, I was looking at cams.com. How come some say if its your first time camming, streamate may be best? Can one make more money at cams.com?
To me after dancing for years..I've seen and heard it all. So in terms of husteling or me being shy..I'm not really worried about that. I do see that it will be somewhat different from dancing. But I don't have any shyness going on.
Thank you SOOOOO much!

Try signing up for some place like MyFreeWebCams.com you can list your fee's in the chat box. Customers buy tokens in bulk and the tokens are used as tips.

You tell then your price when they ask. Otherwise, just let them take you private. That's pretty much how it works on large cam sites. Just be careful of Streamte if you don't want to see your private shows on pornhub.com. Cams.com has lots of traffic. Minnie likes is a lot and she is a pro. :) The pay can be very low. Myfreecams and privatecams have insane traffic and high payouts.
Re: When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
most guys dont ask will just go check themselves. and streamate you can only change your price once every 24 hrs.
Re: When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
^^^Yea , I find that with Streamate. I change my rate on the weekends.
Re: When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
Thank you all for sharing info. I know I've seen just a lilttle thread on here about what to charge per min. for cam girls.
I'm not trying to ask anyones personal info. But I'm wondering what the heck is a fair starting price for a first timer? Any suggestions? If you're comfortable saying so... I appreciate your suggestion. And in advance, thanks for your time. Sorry if its kind of an old question. ;)
It will certainly be a change for me from dancing at the club. And believe me..I'm not bragging....but I am one of the hardest working chicks in the club when I dance and I do well. So now I'm like..what the heck do I charge for camming?!
I feel like I'm a girl starting in a totally new club and its a whole set of different rules. :O
But I'm excited! :)
Thank you. xoxoxoox

Re: When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
well on my indie cam sites I charge $3 per minute with audio included. On another cam site I work on I charge $2.75/min. I have seen girls charge $5, 6, 7 per minute and some charge $1.50 or less. I think $3 is a perfect amount for me but I have gone down to $2 sometimes. it depends on what site you are on and what the other girls are charging. Try to keep your price competitive but don't go lower than you are comfortable with. :)
Re: When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
Thank you, ladies. I'll start camming soon. I saw a post about streamate holding your first check. I wonder why???
Re: When do you tell customers your cam fee's?
Streamate didn't hold my first check. They sent it out 3 weeks after the week I made it, but they do that every week.
