Vivianbear, Imlive was my first site and I do like working on that site despite the asshole customer service reps. The biggest chargeback I had was about 11 bucks. I have not had more than 4 or 5 chargebacks since I started in Nov 08. I worked for over 6 months before even hearing about a chargeback. For me it has not been a major issue.
Damn, the post sent before I could finish typing...wtf? anyway, I guess I would be here crying to yall about Imlive doing major chargebacks to me if it has happened to me. I did apply at several other webcam sites because I did not want to deal with imlive anymore. Not because of chargebacks, but because I can't stand their csr's. Unfortunately I do not make as much as I do with Imlive, and that is my main reason for staying. If I was making more money on other sites, and had the same option to opt out of free video chat, then I guess I would be somewhere else. It's not like I stay because I am dumb enough to accept a company that does not have a better fraud risk department. I stay because I make more than the other sites I'm on.
i stay with imlive because were able to opt out of free chat. It's like being on the independent cam sites. Sometimes im just not in the mood to hustle in free chat and like the convience of just logging on imlive, lay around my house, vaccum in my lingerie (which ive done lol) and just wait for the door bell to ring saying i got a pvt.
Opting out of free chat on top of the money, is my main reason. Free live chat is a tool I use when traffic is slow. If I am slow and log on free chat, I am going private within minutes if not seconds, but it is a very annoying tool to use if not needed. I can only listen to bb open ass so many times before wanting to choke somebody.
Im staying with ImLive because its my first site, and i want to give it a a chance, ive sorta learnt how to control my chargebacks, i dont accept all privates, so when i do get a chargebacks its usually because ive been dead and accepted someone lower than a silver status. not all who are under silver chargeback, but its a risk i dont like to take too often if i dont need to. girls who get such high ones must accept evryone and therefore hav a higher risk of building up thier chargebacks.

If you check our host tips forum on the day that chargebacks are posted, you will notice that probably 90% or more of the chargebacks are from members who have less than a silver status. In order to get a silver status, you have to have paid for at least 4 private shows if I am not mistaken. If a guy has paid for only one or no shows, there will be a message in green that pops up when he wants to enter your chat room. The message says this member has never, or has purchased only one show.....the girls who have the huge amount of chargebacks are always letting these guys in their chatrooms, while the rest of us do not. and like Jess said, the rare times that I do get a chargeback is when business was slow and I decided to take a chance on an active member, and he has proven to always be a chargeback. I always look at the long list of active members who have chargeback, and wonder why the girls keep letting them in? I think one of the reasons is because they are trying to get a high rank on the hall of fame list, and all of that adds up, but in the end you can wind up just giving all those active members a free show. So it may be frustrating to have slow traffic, but worth it in the end to not accept potential chargebacks. Those of us who stay with Imlive have our reasons, and we as hosts do have a way at preventing a large amount of fraud.
