selling private shows while on stage
I'm good at selling private shows while I'm on stage..I have good stage presence, flirt, make eye contact, and many times a customer will approach the stage and ask for a private show when I'm done.
But 90% of the time, even though I tell them I have to finish my set and then I'm all theirs, they will end up getting a private show from another girl who is available at the time.
Are there any tricks to keeping the sale ? There is no way we can change stage rotation. I'm afraid by the time I'm off stage they will have forgotten they wanted one (or their logical brain has had time to work and say never mind.)
Another scenario: the other club that I'm interested in auditioning at serves alcohol (we don't)..it's usually packed (our club is really slow unless military is here). The other club usually has guys in their later twenties while we get all the underage guys (with no money).
But..at this other club I have noticed a lot of stage dancing, and customers selecting one girl, and feeding her dollars to take it off. They do not offer private shows, their 'private dance' is just a small stage off to the side, in view of the whole room, and the dancer just air dances. So tell me, how would a dancer sell an air dance when she's already doing basically the same thing for a few bucks on stage?
thank you
Re: selling private shows while on stage
if its really a problem try to keep them by the stage as long as possible. if a customer seems like a good CR candidate, then i will forgo entertaining the crowd and will build rapport with the customer. i wont make as good money that stage set, but i will make a few hundred more after stage so it works out. i dont always do this though... i read the situation and if it seems like it calls for it, then i do it.
Re: selling private shows while on stage
If they seem like the type to just take any girl, I always tried to keep them at the stage. I'd flirt, blow kisses, etc. At one club where they had to pay the CR bouncer/attendent instead of us, I'd be all flirty and just send them to pay right then and there. The attendent just kept a list so I knew what order to do dances/CR.

Probably because the girl they ended up going with probably did the force/pressure-hustle on 'em after they spoke with you. Or maybe the pity-hustle. ::)
At SCs these days, guys aren't allowed to just say no. Girls pressure them so hard and it is so tacky. So tons of guys end up with dances from chicks that would not have been their first choice.

You have to tell them exactly what is going to happen in order to increase the likelihood he'll wait for you.
Make good eye contact, smile enormously when he mentions a private dance, and say "Great! That'd be awesome! I have about 2 more minutes left on stage, but once I get off, I'll meet you over there! *point* Okay?" Give them the amount of time they'll have to wait, where he needs to meet you, and even what'll happen then ("then we'll go back there and get me naked!").
You may want to make it seem like you're counting on him being there...(a mini-guilt trip in case he gets approached by someone else). This should help ensure a sale!
Re: selling private shows while on stage
I agree with Athena, I give them lots of attention from the stage and tell them we'll go to the PD/CR as soon as my stage set ends. When my last song is ending I ask them to meet me where I exit the stage.
Re: selling private shows while on stage
thanks for the tips..I'll try these out next time the situation comes up. It's usually much easier for me to sell private shows from the stage versus the approach and build conversation method..
wow I wish we had an attendant to handle the payments to ensure we had a sale before they could leave with another girl or change their minds. I might bring this up with management. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to get someone interested and then have to do a stage set..i LOVE stage but I love closing sales too..
thank you
