Re: What is the fantasy that strippers want to sell?
I agree with KS_Stevia, it's about attainability.
When you walk into a stripclub you don't have to look good, you don't have to be smart, you don't have to be funny, you don't have to be young. You can still get a hot naked girl/guy in your lap. If you pay for it.
Sure you can get a ons or something if you walk into a nightclub/pub/bar/whatever, but it usually requires some effort. And it requires mutual attraction. At the very least it requires you to have the courage to walk right up to that hot girl/guy and run the risk of being rejected. Of course the hot girl/guy might also walk up to you and ask if you should get naked, but that's not really something you can count on.
There is not the same kind of uncertainty in a stripclub, you can pay for naked entertainment. Fantasy of attainability fulfilled.

One, we prefer any person we interact with, in business or otherwise, has a pleasant manner. Two, the happy manner, like the costume, is part of the theatre/acting. That's all the fantasy is. It's not a fantasy we believe in, it's a show which corresponds to our fantasies about women in general.
Exactly.
Though I wouldn't consider this to be a fantasy, more like just good customer service. If I had a tour guide, I would perfer one that is high-energy and cheerful as opposed to one that seems like they are waiting to punch the clock at the end of the day.
If a waitress was more pleasant to you then the average waitress and also made sure you got the food you ordered quickly and in good condition and you ended up tipping her a bit more, would you complain about her using "waitress shit" on you? If a stripper is able to stimulate you and make you feel like the shit for the time you are in the club, why not just reward that?
Actually that might be a good discussion for a thread: the difference between "stripper shit" and just good plain 'ol customer service.

^Partly it's business sense (being nice to the customer) and partly because the girl being nice to him is part of the customer's fantasy about a hot girl. They are two different kinds of nice but they coincide in the case of a stripper.

When I visit SC I enjoy a good lapdance, but I am under no illusion that the stripper is enjoying it too or turned on by it. Call me nuts, I just like a naked beautiful woman sitting on me. :D
So what is this illusion?
The illusion that the stripper is into you?
That the stripper will date you?
Or the fantasy of an unapproachable godess that suddenly becomes flesh and blood in the SC?
Most dancers are able to give the impression they enjoy giving you an LD? Since they won't give them to you for free, it's a fantasy. Or am I missing something?
A lot of dancers have customers who pay them to act like platonic girlfriends in the club. Not my thing, but may be cheaper than a psychiatrist, and perphaps more theraputic.
Re: What is the fantasy that strippers want to sell?
Well the fantasy i sell is talking and dancing for men i would never give the time of day to. Does that answer your question guy?
Re: What is the fantasy that strippers want to sell?
^Don't men who you would give the time of day to also buy LDs from you?
