Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
I made an ass out of myself about a week ago. I went into work and drank waaay too much(I know, I shouldnt get drunk at work) I made okay money, but when I went to tip out I made a mistake and I feel I didnt tip the DJ enough. I was an asshole and gave him the minimum tip out. Now I am really embarrassed about 1) My drunken dumb ass behavior and 2) Being cheap to someone who didnt deserve it at all. I feel like such an asshole. Do I go back in and give the DJ a better tip right when I get in? Or did I burn a bridge at this club, and go to a new one? Any help/advise would be appreciated.

Go back. Tip him more then if you like your club.

Haha your a stripper girl, believe me they've seen way worse then you. I would bet anything on that. We've all had drunken stupid nights, hell I remember falling off stage one night and stumbling around the club mouthing people off. I went in the next night and laughed and said 'wow was I stupid last night im so sorry if I offended anyone and I bet I totally made an ass of myself on stage: and laughed at myself, everyone laughed and all was good. We all go right back and go 'ffs what the hell was I thinking?' lol. Everyone has probably forgotten about it if its been a week.
If you're worried about your relationship with the DJ apologize to him, explain you just had way to much to drink that night and you wernt thinking clearly and you promise to make it up to him, even toss him a $10 when you get there if you want. Im sure he'll understand :)

Go back, apologize for your drunken behavior and tip. :) Don't get too drunk at work again. ;)

^ Yeah ...... a dancer just threw up right on the floor at my club and I know she'll be back ..... lol.

^:rotfl:I guess I could be waaay worse!!!
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
For sure go back and tip him the proper amount! This happens to me almost every night. I don't have time to count my money before I leave so I estimate what I made and give him 10 percent of that. More often than not, the next day I end up giving him more money because when I actually counted my money I made more than I thought. It shows you are honest and I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
definitely go back in, and if you feel that bad, tip the DJ more when you go back.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
well... at least you gave the minimum. and I'm willing to bet you were def not the only that did this. Just give him more money next shift..... I think you are fine to go back. doesnt sound like you did anything serious.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
yeah it's not a big deal unless you started a fight or mouthed off to management like i did one night. i didn't get fired but i wasn't allowed to work that manager's particular shift...he works mainly the only shifts i can work so i could've gone back in and apologize however the way things went it'd be more like groveling on my part especially the manager himself is notorious for drinking a lot on the job.
but aside from my experience, set your pride aside and just go back in, they've seen worse. i was planning on changing clubs anyway so it wasn't a big deal for me to just say 'screw you' to my old club...it was time for a change.

^^Isn't that the truth! Every once in a while I'm worried that I was a little too tipsy at work and realized that the staff has seen it ALL.
Go back, tip the DJ more and say you goofed up. I doubt he even thinks its as big of a deal as you do!
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
^I agree. Humility will carry you far.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
Yeah, tip him a bit at the start of the shift and tell him you were out of it the other night, smiling sheepishly. Don't over-explain. Keep it short and sweet. If it's truly out of character, it'll be seen as such.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
i just passed out at work the other night. girl, don't worry about it. that is nothing to switch clubs over.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
Never explain, just smile say you think you forgot to tip them, the night was foggy, and give them the tip with a sorry. It happens, I'm sure that the night is way more memorable to you than to any of them.
Re: Should I go back in? I need so help ladies....
Don't even worry about it. Just tell him you're sorry, but you were drunk and don't remember if you tipped him enough or whatever. I don't think anyone will really think much of it anyway. I have gotten drunk and broken a rib at work before. Two tears in a bucket--fuck it. It's all good. I am taking a break from the scene until I know I can do it sober.
