If I start drinking (like out with my friends), I have a hard time stopping at one drink. That's really bad, I know, sounds like a personal problem. I get carried away and I'm usually pretty messed up after a shot or two anyways. I don't eat that much and I don't drink that often so that may have to do with my tolerance.
Anyways, I have been given a lot of shit because I say no. Customers offer to buy me a drink and I take a soda or red bull and they get all mad.. Girls at work buy me shots but I don't drink them.. The bartender passes me free drinks and I say no thanks.. I just didn't think it would be that much of an issue that I don't want to drink. Most of the girls get drunk and sloppy and I don't want to be like that. Everyone tells me to drink to loosen up, but I'm perfectly happy doing my job sober. I know I shouldn't care what people think, but every time I go to work, SOMEONE has to make an issue of it. It's starting to bug me and I was just wondering if anyone had any clever ways to deal with this situation? I get told that I walk really stiff, and number one, I'm not used to the shoes yet, number two, I have a skinny ass, it doesn't jiggle like every one else's unfortunately. So it's not that I'm uptight, I just don't want to freakin drink, but I don't want to offend anyone or make people think I'm some kind of prude or bitch. :( I want to be funny about it but I can't figure out what to say. Any ideas? :)
