How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
This has been something I have put some thought in to as I am considering going from big to bigger. I am a natural D cup and have not had my BA yet.
I want to go big mainly for me, but if my income as a dancer doubles... then hey it's not a bad thing right?
I think I want somewhere in the range of 800 cc and definitely want saline. I love the big and "questionable" look. If there is one model I would like to have the tits of it would be Denise Milani. Yeah I hear she claims to be natural, but you gotta admit the breasts have a questionable look to them.
My mother is adamantly against this. She thinks I will have problems outside of stripping-finding work, men, etc. She hates the idea of me getting this done. That said she does not like the size I am naturally, she thinks I am too big breasted as it is. When I was going through puberty my mother had to tell men in the street to stop hitting on her daughter. I remember being 10 years old, having to wear a bra and my mother defending me from older guys doing cat calls/whistles/etc in the street. Yes, I went through puberty young- I was 8 when I got my first period.
Now that I am older I do not get as many guys cat calling/whistling/stopping cars and when I do I either tell them to fuck off or I politely smile. I deal pretty well with this stuff. I am confident and don't tolerate men harassing me. But I do love the hoots and hollars in the street. In the club I am a decent hustler and work my looks to my advantage.
My question goes out to the ladies that went large with their BA-larger then a D cup, do you find that this effects your day to day life (inside and outside the club) differently aside from money? Do you get cat calls in the street? Did old skeletons come out of the closet (ex-bfs, estranged family/friends) once they found out?
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
well, I'm probably not the best person to be answering this question ... but here goes.
When my implants were 800cc I could easily 'dress them down' for real life situations to the point where nobody really paid much attention, while still looking 'normal' in every way.
When my implants were 1500cc I could still 'dress them down' to a point. However, doing so meant choosing clothes that made me look a bit 'frumpy'.
By the time I got to 2500cc, it pretty much became impossible to 'dress them down' any longer ... which meant dealing with the occasional housewife snigger in the supermarket and the occasional leer at parent / teacher conferences.
By the time I got to my current ~4000cc implants, fugedddaboudit. My tits enter the room 2 seconds before the rest of my body.
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
I don't want to waste your time w/ my posting since I a) do not have a BA and b) my natural boobs are a 34B and therefore I can't answer your question BUT I would like to say that w/ the confidence and self-esteem it sounds like you have, I'd say, go for it! Anyone who gives you crap (i.e. sneers and/or rude comments) are jealous or, at the very least, insecure. Again, as a small-chested woman (and happy w/ it!), I would be thinking, "Awesome!" if I saw you out and about, as long as you carry yourself well.
Ok, just my two cents- Good luck w/ whatever decision you go w/! :)
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
I'm actually the smallest breasted woman in my family, probably because I was going through anorexia when I was hitting puberty. Anyhow, that being said all of the women in my family have to custom order their bras and always complain about how the really cute bras don't come in their size. My mother had a breast reduction done a few years ago, and my cousin had one right after that. Both of them had extreme back pain, and my mother always complained that her breasts were "always in the way"... meaning that she felt like she couldn't lean into look at things closely, easily unload dishes etc. My mother isn't really a complainer when it comes to her personal stuff... she's a pretty tough cookie and an ex-undercover cop, so she can handle a lot. With that being said though, she's much happier having smaller breasts.
I think we just live in a different era and frame of mind. In my mother's time the girl's didn't want to really be sexualized... it wasn't seen as a good thing. In our line of work though we want the attention because it means money.
Besides, if you don't like them you can always have them taken out. Just know that they'll never look the same as they did prior to implants.
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
This is so funny, I have fake Ds and my friend has natural Ds, we both want to go bigger. We decided today that we're going to buy bras in the size we want, pad them and walk around in public to see if any extra response we get will be tolerable.
My breasts are average-sized and I still get a lot of hooting and hollering over them so I'm not exactly unnerved by the idea of being 'harassed' over them if I go bigger, I already am so I might as well do what I want!
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
I have fake 'uns, they're a good sized DD (sometimes they're bigger than a DD depending on the brand). I'm no doctor, but I think with your natural breast size you could def. achieve that Denise Milani-look of 'are they or aren't they fake' with 800cc's becasue you have so much tissue to begin with. Personally, I love Denises' boobs, and the size is amazing, but I would never get them because I already have back problems. If you think you could keep up with the physical demands of having to carry around that extra weight, then go for it!
Face it - guys don't know a cup size just by looking at boobs. Their radar reads like this: 'Small', 'medium', and 'DAYUM LOOK AT DEM BIG OL' TITTIES!'. Depending on a womans build, anything from a D to a FF is going to go in the latter category and result in cat-calling. Having a cup size or two larger than a D doesn't mean the quantity of wolf-whistling will get proportionally larger. I doubt you'd heard more about them than you do now.
And like Melonie said, you really can dress them down, even in the bigger sizes.
Hope I helped you out!

I hope I am not getting too personal, but what has been your family's reaction?
Also have any ex-bfs try and get back together with you, change their attitudes, or generally be rude about it?
I already know what my mother thinks, and I really don't care as I will do what I want.
I am more curious to see what will happen with friends/lovers/exs
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
Family is an issue for me too, my mother is the only one who knows I have had them done and I'd love to keep it that way. I will not be able to hide huge breasts.
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
Ok, let me just throw out there that I am NATURALY a 32H. That is NOT a misprint I'm a god given 32H. But I am a proportioned hourglass figure as well, I have hips, and I'm 5'8, and I'm naturally thicker. So I say that so long as you are in fairly decent proportion you should be fine. Speak intelligently, have confidence, don't take crap from anyone and with anything else in life what you put out there you will get back. No one questions me because my boobs are so huge simply because of the attitude I put out there. So, as long as once the surgery is done you won't look like you should have some sort or brace propping you up because you may fall over (no offence to Melonie I ADORE her, but she is one in a BILLION, she WORKS it).
Then you should be just fine.
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
Before I got my boobs done (32B to a 36C) i tested my boobs to the world by buying fake pads and stuffing them in my bra. I went to a party where i havent seen friends in months and EVERYONE was like did u get a boob job? lol ...it was like the talk of the night. the only SAD part was i was feeling VERY uncomfortable and actually HATED the attention from guys and girls so i held off on the surgery in 2005. So i got them done just last year 2009 . I was secure and knew what the expect :)
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
I had distance judgement problems after I had mine done, I went from a ok B to a DD, when talking in close proximity my boobs would touch people I did not want to touch.
I found that my boobs made guys that never noticed me before, pay attention and I don't mean in a club.
This is real life, so it was strange. I went Silicon and every girl I know in RL, wants her boobs done after they take me to the bathroom at a party and check them out and feel me up.
I don't know, everyone was really cool about it and my family said nothing about it. I found that I no longer had to pay a cover charge.. I am very curvy but proportional.
I want to go bigger, I have gotten adjusted to the size and now they are not big enough, I would go 800 as long as your body can handle a larger implant go for it. I would not go water bags, they don't feel right and they have this wrinkle thing they do.
I wouldn't give a shit what anyone thinks, I didn't when I got mine done and it just doesn't matter.
The only thing I miss are button up shirts.

Thank you ! And indeed there are a few mornings when I could use that back brace LOL !
But this actually brings up a dichotomy where dancers contemplating breast implants is concerned. Obviously my choice to go all the way to ~4000cc implants was professionally motivated. Once a girl starts getting to the 800+cc / F cup ballpark there are going to be some sort of repurcussions in her everyday life. Usually these repurcussions can be minimized by 'dressing them down', but it is a consideration nonetheless.
So the first real question that a dancer needs to ask herself when contemplating breast implants is ... which is more important ? Earning more money as a dancer or having to deal with ( comparatively minor ) repurcussions in everyday life ?
This in turn leads to a second question ... am I going to continue dancing for a significant length of time ? Or am I dancing as a very short term measure i.e. covering next semester's tuition payment ? Obviously the longer you intend to continue dancing, and the more nights per week you plan on dancing, the more a large set of implants will pay 'dividends'.

That totally made my day. I am naturally a size 36 C and 6 feet 150 pounds, I am thinking of going up to a DD or even and F with my frame I guess I may go into the third category. May as well get noticed inside and out of the club
Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
Melonie, may I ask if you have cohesive gel or saline? And did you ever have to have a lift in any of your procedures? I had saline @ 375cc and then had a re-do with cohesive gel last year and went to 450cc, although I had to have a lift when switching from overs to unders. Now I'm finding that I wish I had gone bigger as I yearn for Denise Milani size breasts...I just looove big tits. At 5'9 and 160 with an Amazon frame figure I can carry my current size and most people think they are natural and proportioned to my frame ie bust and hip ratio is identical. I want to go bigger but I also think my BF will be upset as the 2nd procedure was hard to go through for both of us. Did you ever feel apprehensive about having repeated surgeries for your breasts? Sorry if I am rambling a bit!

Re: How did getting large implants effect your day to day life?
Ive had my implants for about 7 years they are 34H and im 5'10" tall so i get ALOT of unwanted attention outside the club. Im quite a shy, quiet person outside of work so i hate men feeling entitled to stare and comment on my boobs in the street. I guess it also depends on where you live, in a smaller town people behave differently but in a big city people are less involved in other peoples business. As far as money at work goes, yes big fake boobs are just the thing!
