preffered method
whats your preferred method for finding new music or do you even bother anymore
its fairly rare for me anymore but every so often a dancer will start that I'm tempted to go that extra step and find music for her to dance to
partly so I dont have her ask for the same 3 songs for a week straight and partly just cause I feel like it

Re: preffered method
Ok, I'll part with some of my infinate music wisdom/secrets because I'm good like that. Here's a few reco's:
1) iGenius - start playing your favorite songs on iTunes, and the genius will generate a list of about 10-20 songs of a similar genre
2) Pandora.com
3) Inthegym.net - An NYC girl who publishes a blog with some great workout tunes of all genres. (I'd love to hear some of SW's music blog reco's if you have them!)
4) Amazon.com - I'll pick an album I like and then read up on their "Users who bought this album also bought..."
5) Have your ears peeled at all times during your favorite TV shows and movies. I'll instantly go online and check out what song was playing during a scene if I'm digging it. Two I like to follow are Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl.

6) Make friends with the DJ when you're at a bar or club. I have no hesitation about befriending local dj's and asking what song they're playing if one catches my fancy. They're usually happy to find someone who is as in to the music as they are!
Hope that helps!
