Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
Does anyone know any sites that have cheap shipping to Canada? (clothes for work)
I ordered my shoes from snaz75 but the shipping by itself came to 40$! I cant seem to find anything in the stores, so Im hoping if you ladies know cheap Canada shipping sites.
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
Why did the snaz75 shipping come to $40? It should only be 19.95; that's what mine was and I ordered two pairs of shoes and some outfits?
Edit to quote their page:
CANADIAN ORDERS - Ship through UPS "Canadian" Ground for a flat shipping rate of $19.95. All taxes, brokerage fees, and duty fees are paid for by the buyer. Snaz75.com does not include the charges in your order, nor do we pay any of the Canadian taxes or fees of any kind that may be charged upon delivery.

Yup, the shoes were 30$, then the shipping which is mentioned came to be 19.95, then when the shoes came to my door I signed the paper from UPS which was a another 20$ for their delivery fee.
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
Was it called a delivery fee? That doesn't sound right to me. Last time I ordered from Snaz there was no extra fees, though there could be a customs fee on it, but it doesn't sound right it being $20 when the shoes were $30... strange.
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
Yes snaz orders come to me with a broker fee, adds $20, usually $40 ish total for shipping sucks
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
www.bekisboutique.com is Canadian; not sure where you are but they are in Toronto. I will try to remember the name of the shoe website I found a while back too....

Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
Ulg, I'm getting nailed with a 39.02 charge for my Snaz delivery. I didn't get a charge last time.
That, and the fact that it took 5 weeks to ship, means I will NOT be buying from Snaz again. Ridiculous.

Awesome, thanks so much.
Im sick of waiting for delivery and the fees drive me crazy!
Just checked out the site.. I dunno if its Canada or Im just cheap but their prices are $$$$$
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
Lexi that sucks! Last time they had "trouble" with my mastercard so I wrote them like 10 e-mails that they shipped it pretty quick and came within a week. But Im also deff not buying from there again.
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
YIKES! It'll be cheaper for me to send my orders to my boyfriend in Florida, and get him to either send it up to me himself, or bring it up when he visits. Crazy how these places charge an arm and a leg for delivery when Canada is just across the boarder. The difference in the physical distance is minuscule when it comes to say, shipping to Buffalo vs Toronto, but they easily charge twice the amount. I guess it's customs and boarder issues that make it so damned expensive!

Yea, they said Canadian orders would be placed on hold for 1-3 weeks. So after 3 weeks, I emailed them and they said it'd be shipped Friday. Then on Friday I asked why it wasn't shipped and they said the shoes were on backorder and they should be shipped Monday.
Such an aggravating experience since I'm ordering shoes for a girl at work, too. And then when I got the shipping email it JUST listed the shoes. So I sent an email back asking if my full order shipped and they never got back to me, just told me to check the shipment.
Then, yesterday they came to deliver it, rang the buzzer once and by the time my boyfriend was able to get up to answer it, they were back in their truck. Must have RAN away like a little prank caller. I put in a complaint about the driver because this happens every single time.
So, so frustrating.

'zippy092' - you can look here:
www.orientvisual.com/6inchforever
They are primarily a Custom-made Fetish heels maufacturer - but - they also carry the ENTIRE range of Pleaser stripper heels. Look for the blue 'Exotic Platforms' link at the top of the Homepage.
They are based in Canada, so shipping 'extras' shouldn't be an issue.
You can also check out this place too:

Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
I just ordered two pairs of shoes last month from and was really pleased. The selection is awesome and the prices are comparable to snaz75. My order shipped within a couple days, arrived in about 3 weeks, and there were no surprise fees or mistakes made. I paid $30 total for shipping and the process was completely painless.
The only thing that annoyed me was their policy about only shipping to the billing address of the credit card used. I live in an apartment and have had parcels stolen from the hallway before, so now I always ship things to a mailbox I rent in a UPS store. Couldn't do that this time. >:( On the upside, they shipped it as "signature required", so it ended up being a moot point. They couldn't have left the box in the hallway anyway. ;D
Oh, and I ended up ordering the wrong size for one of the pairs of shoes. (Apparently my feet are smaller than I thought--not a terrible thing!) They do take returns from Canada, but it seemed like way too much hassle. I think I'll just sell them on kijiji or something instead and order another pair.
Re: Free or cheap shipping to Canada?
I should probably add, I also placed an order with at the same time and was NOT impressed. My order shipped the same day--which surprised the heck out of me because it was a Saturday--and also took about 3 weeks to arrive. The problem was they charged me $86 up front for shipping and then I got slapped with another $99 in "import charges" once it arrived. $185 for shipping!! On a $300 order that weighed next to nothing and came in a medium-sized shipping bag! I was seriously pissed. With that kind of "tax", I would have been better off shopping at the local stripper store. At least then I could have tried everything on first and avoided ending up with a couple outfits that aren't even going to work for stripping anyway.
Ah well, lessons learned....

Ouch. Does Ottawa have many good stripper stores? I don't know ANYTHING about stripping in Ottawa!

I'm not sure, I just came out of "retirement" and am new to dancing here myself. The one I went to is Excitable Fashions on Preston St. It's a small shop, but they had a good variety of clothing and shoes there for fairly reasonable prices. I have no idea if they do shipping or not.
