Condition your hair! Massage the coconut oil into your skin. Cook with them.....Om nom nom!
You could tan with the CoCo oil.....You could make your skin super soft with the grape seed oil...The possibilities are endless!!!!! ;D
I use coconut oil as body moisturiser after the shower. Not the face though, its too oily for my face.
The most use its gets, however, is as a replacement to petroleum based lubricants. It seriously works great and is all natural. No petrol in the vajayjay!
Coconut Oil is an AWESOME sexual lubricant, like unbelievable! It's also good on toast in the morning, on your hair as a weekly deep conditioner (I sleep with it in), it's good mixed with lotion all over your body.
Grapeseed oil is PHENOMENAL for removing makeup, rub into damp face, add face soap, everything rinses clean.
dont forget the moroccan oil! it does wonders for extensions or dry hair.
baby oil poured into bath = mmmmmmmm
coconut oil sounds so attractive to me now i better go buy some!
baby oil is not good! It's straight mineral oil, which clogs your pores!
I just took a shower and put some on my body. I have oily skin but I put it on my face. Figured at the very least it'd make a good nighttime moisturizer.
I use coconut oil in my hair. It's waist-length, and usually as part of my morning routing I'll put just a little bit on my hands and then run my hands through the ends. About once a week, I slather every strand from the nape of my neck on down with it, then put it up in a bun and leave it for a couple hours. I'm very prone to dry hair, and this helps soooo much.
not really. Normally I only wash my hair with conditioner, but whenever I do the coconut oil I'll use a little bit of shampoo mixed in with the conditioner and it comes out fine :)
Coconut oil has literally revived my poor bleached hair back from the dead.
You can ...
massage it in and sleep with it in, rinse out in the morning, shampoo/condition like normal ...
shampoo hair in the shower, apply coconut oil to hair and let it sit for @ least 5 mins (I shave, exfoliate, etc. during this time), then shampoo out and condition ...
or use it sparingly as a styling aid by rubbing very small amounts onto the dry ends when wet or dry, or lightly skimming the frizzies in your hair with a very thin coating on your palms.
plus, you'll smell delicious! :)
I eat a big tablespoon per day, I got the Nutiva brand. However I tried using some as a hot oil treatment, shampooed my hair like crazy, and it wouldn't rinse out of my hair. it did nothing but make my hair look wet for an entire day ): I'm afraid to try it again!
Are you guys using solid or liquid coconut oil?
Coconut oil is solid when the temperature is below 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Mine is solid on my shelf in winter and liquid in summer (Phoenix).
If it is solid, it will begin to liquefy from your body heat when you begin to use it. Or when cooking, of course.
