Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
So, I decided to take salsa dancing as a new way to stay in shape. I though it would be more fun than the threadmill. I go to the studio expecting some dude or middle-aged woman to teach by me mimicking their steps. But, my instructor turns out to be a drop-dead gorgeous 20-something girl. We held hands the whole time and she also showed me close dancing with my hand on her waist... lots of eye-contact, chatting and laughing. After an amazingly good time, she pulls out a book that explains the dance classes and the tuition and... damn, they're insanely expensive!
Because of my experiences in the SC, I was able to discern what was going on - a hot babe hustle! If I did not have the experience of chatting with hot ladies in the SC and saying "no" when it is the financially responsible thing to do, I would have likely spent a ridiculous sum of money signing up for lessons with this super-sexy salsa dancer.... (I told her I would think about it some more.) Thank you SCs for building me into a man that can say "no" to charming and stunningly-beautiful women.
She was really really good. I even got a big hug before I left (just like I do in the SCs). Do you think she was a former SC dancer? The only "sales" women I've met this good are SC dancers.

Perhaps you only find temptation recognizable in this and similar types of sales interactions.

Re: Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
^ There are no "similar types of sales interactions". When does a hot chick you've never met before take your hands, place them on her body, dance for your enjoyment and give you smiles and hugs to entice you to spend money? - This only happens in the SC --- until my Salsa class last Monday.

To sala dance you do have to touch the person and be close. She was showing you whole point of salsa dancing, thus why she put your hand on her - its salsa. Since she is a dancing instrutor, Ive noticed many of them male or female like to use their hands on SOMETHING, they're very open people. And yes she may used a hug and smiles to convice you into paying, that doesnt mean shes interested but maybe a very open and touchy person. She took advantage of knowing you had some interest - mostly any person in sales would take as much as they can in the same or different manner. This is why I doubt shes a former sw member or a stripper.. not all are.

Oh Jack. You can't be serious.

Re: Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
^ I don't know, I just got that same silly-giddy-happy-idiot feeling I get when being hustled by the hot girls in the SC, and it occured to me that it was the perfect job for someone wanting to retire from stripping, assuming she had some dancing background of the more mainstream sort. Also, I have met a few dancer in the SC with such a background, i.e., mainstream dance.
Also, the other dancer in the studio had a stripperesque tattoo on her leg.

Re: Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
Who cares if she's a former SC dancer ? She's probably make more at a club, so if she's there, she probably doesn't want to be in the club.
Take her 'spensive classes. Men who dance ( well ) are hot.

Re: Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
It's really hard to say. I've seen girls who will either moonlight as an exotic dancer while doing "mainstream" dancing / fitness instructor and keep it on the dl. I've also seen girls who admonish the thought of being an exotic dancer. If it makes you giddy-happy though, enjoy it.;D

Re: Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
You had to go to SCs to get a "hot-babe hustle"? There are hot babes in all types of sales jobs who do that. In this case the nature of the business - dancing instruction - made holding your hand appropriate, since partners hold hands when they dance. People in dancing also tend to be contact types and also exroverted - hence the smiling and eye contact. But yes she was also trying to make a sale. I don't see why any of this has to be to do with strippers.
It's possible she is or was a stripper, since some strippers come from a trained dancing background and decide to use that and their attractive dancer physiques to their advantage in stripping.
I don't get how SCs prepared you to say "no" to hot babes, since you should be saying "yes" to hot babes in SCs - that is what you are there to get.

Fair question. I'll explain - If I go to a certain SC which has about 20-30 girls every night, I might get approached by 8 girls while I'm there. But, I'll only pick one dancer for dances and she might be one of these 8 girls, or she might be another one that I spotted and I approached. Anyway, I say "no, thank you" more often that "yes", even though I always end up buying dances. Also, with the girl I've picked, at some point, I will have to resist every impulse in my body and say "no, thank you" to another dance.

No, just explain what "stripperesque" is? Tramp stamp? Tribal stuff? Winnie the Pooh on her ass?
I have lots of tattoos. They are scary.

I don't know what it was exactly, I didn't check it out up close. It was at least 6 to 8 inches long on the side of her leg between her knee and her foot.
BTW, I've seen pics of your tattoos and they are awesome.

It's too late to try kissing ass, Jack...

So what is it that makes this tattoo stripperesque...? because based on current qualifications... my mom has tattoos like a fucking stripper.
Not to come off like a total bitch or anything. I'm just wondering if you're generally stereotyping women with tattoos or if there's a REASON to give this tattoo that label.

I find that the vast majority of stunningly beautiful women don't even consider the untapped potential a strip club could provide.

Okay, I was dead wrong... According to the Urban Dictionary, a "stripper tattoo" is:
1. A tattoo worn by a on a girl on the small of the back, just above the butt. Usually stretches from one side of the body to the other.
2. A tattoo on the back commonly seen on strippers and porn stars.
3. A tattoo on a girls back to give you something to look at when having doggystyle sex.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...ipper%20tattoo
Therefore, the tattoo on the salsa dancer's leg was not "stripperesque".
I can admit making a mistake. :-\

Right, you have to watch how much you spend. But how much just depends on whether you like your money or the stripper more. It's still not the same as a hot girl trying to sell you something besides herself.
Luckily there are few strippers in the clubs I go to who I rate as worth spending money on at all. On some visits I can't justify spending anything. I don't have a problem resisting another dance, since anything I can do with a naked woman on my lap I can do in under 30 minutes. After that it's just sexual frustration. All I might want then is an LD with a different stripper. Okay, so I wouldn't mind sitting all night with a hot stripper on my lap, but I'm paying big for it and looking at and touching a girl can only go so far before it's more of the same. IRL it's supposed to lead on to something else.
It's not like I can only get what I have to pay for inside the SCs. How about you?

Stunningly beautiful women don't have to strip to make money. They can sell their beauty in other ways - e.g. photographic modelling - which don't involve being naked around unpleasant males. At some point they can marry a man with a good income.
-
Re: Crush on a Dancer - Salsa Dancer
^Modelling involves one or both of those aaaall the time, and doesn't pay that well for all the work and prep.
