Help!
I have a last minute birthday party to go to tonight. The theme is Marie Antoinette... but it's not a full-blown costume party. How do I dress up without going overboard???

A cameo necklace would be the perfect touch. Maybe pair it with a tasteful but cute bustier top. Or if you have some similar pieces to this (minus the jacket and wig).

Have fun :-)
I would wear a bloody bandage around my neck, but that's just me.
Guillotine included? }:D lol
The guillotine was used as a way to promote equality between the classes since previously beheading was reserved for the aristocracy. I did some research on my mothers side and found out a few went to the guillotine in the spirit of liberte, egalite, et fraternite. Evidently they had enough blue blood to piss off Robespierre, not enough francs to buy their way out. The rest fled to Mexico and Texas, and here I am.
One more sidenote: The Marquis de Sade was imprisoned in the Bastille shortly before it was liberated. He had a nasty habit of inciting the crowds to riot by screaming that they were killing prisoners. He got moved to the Charenton asylum. Guess what happened 2 weeks later. Dumbass shoulda kept his piehole shut. -_-
