I dont have the issue, but have a friend where her hair started thinning drastically after about 25...
she tried a bunch of stuff, but hasnt found much that helped. one thing that seemed to help was this laser comb thing. it was pretty expensive though. i'll see if i can get the info and post a link. she said so far its the only thing that has helped.

So this is what I tell my customers at cosmetology school who experience hair loss/ shedding after giving birth. Basically pregnancy throws ur hormones out of wack and the best solution to an internal problem is by using an internal method. No shampoo condition or oils will help this problem. So go out and get you some prenatal vitamins. My friend at work who is white takes them everyday because her hair started shedding because of heart medication and she started taking those and now her hair grows like a weed. Also one of my customers at school started taking them 3 weeks ago and has reduced her shedding by 75%. So try that keep the heat of ur hair and it should start to work.

Look up PCOS (polycistic ovarian syndrome). i have this, hair thinning is a side effect and this happened to me for a bit but now its under control...and extensions help. is your period normal? how is your skin? your blood sugar? these are other things that tend to get screwy if you have pcos.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry! There's no feeling worse than feeling your hair starts falling off as a woman. You definitely need more supplements in your life.
Sorry for chiming in to this thread so late, but I used to dread taking showers all the time. Now I don't mind.
This is my story and some of my best advice which I hope is going to be of much help.
I'm a woman in her 50's and I didn't give much thought to my sprouting gray hairs and my hair loss in my 30's during my first pregnancy because they were virtually undetectable; however, as my patch turned into a streak, I began to question whether or not I should address them although it was the last thing I wanted to do...
Should I color them? Should I stick to natural hairstyles where they'd go unnoticed? I was really on the fence, yet I didn't feel particularly rushed to conceal my grays...
I'm glad there are finally solutions out there for doing something about it that actually work!
is a daily hair growth supplement that quite quickly helped me and my bestie to improve our hair and stop our hair loss with a few important but natural ingredients.
It wasn't until we found it we were able to make our hair stop falling off as fast although it doesn't stop completely!
I finally feel a lot more confident in my hair!
Wishing you the best of luck in your journey, sis.
Hope my advice was of help to you <3

100 times this, i was going to write the same thing. It's a sign of PCOS, usually the testosterone level is increased, because of the insulin spike, which causes hair loss. But better to check with a doctor and do your blood work.
I am currently reading this book, by DR Jason Fung and Nadia Pateguana, about reversing PCOS trough intermittent fasting and low sugar diet. Really useful book and super informative. If you have $12 to spare, please buy it. It has tons of positive reviews.

I would have your hormone levels checked. It could also be a rise in estrogen or you could be estrogen dominant. Stress will do it too.
