Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
I have been made aware of a fallout on a site that is comprised mostly of former members. Interestingly enough, that fallout has resurrected talk about the one that happened nearly 2 years ago. I was surprised to hear that even after all the time that has passed, people are still misinformed about what actually took place.
I had served the previous administrator of the site a Cease and Desist notice asking her to retract the lies she was making and those she was allowing to be published about me and StripperWeb. I had assumed that most people would realize who was being open and honest by who was willing to legally document their words, show their records, and defend their actions in a court of law. I learned today that some just don't get it: anyone can talk big online, but in that case, I was the only one willing to go on the legal record.
I bring this up not to stir up old drama, but I want to set the record clear once and for all. Just as I was willing to stand up and defend my words and actions then, I am willing to do so now - in court if need be. So, I have decided to give everyone a chance to interview me about Dottie's accusation and the resulting rift it caused.
So how is this going to work? First off, I don't want this to turn into a flame-fest or troll-bait. So I will be having a 3rd party professional writer/journalist interview me. That should keep the conversation civilized and honest. I want an independent party who will be willing to dig into the interview and not be afraid to ask tough questions.
How will they know what the tough questions are? That's your job! All you have to do is submit them via email to [email protected] or by using the form at http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sendmessage.php. Feel free to ask multiple questions and to dig deep down into what is left unanswered. EVERY question will be read. The most frequently asked ones and interesting ones will be asked and answered. I hoping it will be eye opening for all of us and we can finally close this chapter.
Rules:
DO NOT USE THIS THREAD TO ADD QUESTIONS FOR THE INTERVIEW - If you do so, we will remove them and point you.
I will NOT discuss the words of others from emails, PMs, or their actions from logs from SW - if they were not seen by others. I respect every member's privacy and will not expose things told me in confidence (though I would if required to in court - an offer I also made to the reported lead detective).
I will NOT share my personal opinion of the parties involved - I am not doing this to dish dirt or create drama.
I will not play judge or detective, nor pretend to know about things that I could not possibly know - I will answer on facts only, things I have personally experienced, or know are documented.
I WILL discuss who I talked to about this case.
I WILL discuss what _I_ said in emails, PMs, and logs that were seen by others (moderators).
I WILL discuss what my lawyers found in criminal background checks.
I WILL discuss my conversations with NYPD.
I WILL discuss my conversation with the high profile lead detective that was reported to be on this case.
I WILL discuss any and all legal action that transpired from the accusations.
I WILL discuss any legally documented facts around this issue.
I WILL discuss any action I took on SW during and following the fallout.
I WILL discuss the disbanding of the original Locker Room.
So send in your questions! We will take them for two weeks starting today. I am expecting the interview to be posted about a week or two after the questions are complied. Again, send in as many as you would like and don't hold back.

Re: Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
Wasn't that more than a year ago? I'd say there are probably very few of us who remember that... maybe 5% or so? If anything, I'd be interested to see the court documentation of what happened with the case. I'd say in the past year there have been some problems with administration and trust... that case was just the beginning & many members left the forum immediately following.

Re: Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
i don't know how this is relevant or any of our business anyway. shouldn't this be left between the parties involved...?

I have 0 knowledge on the situation, naturally spiking my curiosity. ;P

Kylea, it's almost been two years now. I would like to address the concerns of administration and trust that you mentioned. Please do email any questions you have about decisions that were made or actions taken on SW.

You are correct saphire, it is not directly relevant to the industry and should have always been left between the parties involved. However, for better or worse, the drama of it all was played out here - within the industry network that started here. It's more related to the community than the industry. I realize the site has grown since, but I personally want to speak to those people who have not heard the truth and address their questions - for what it's worth.

^^^ You mean that this is being brought up again? Personally I think it's a bit "out of the blue" but maybe this discussion will bring about some well needed changes.

Considering at first it was a accusation between them, then it came out that it had supposedly happened to multiple members and such, I think it's still very relevant. It changed my outlook on SW and the internet for good and I would love to know the truth, just honstly, if it wasn't like a copy from an actual police report, dunno if I could believe anything or anyone at this point. :-\
TBH though, overall it did change some posting habits for the better. It always made me sick to my stomach how some of the older members drooled over a few guys. (sorry honey) If anything, I am glad that we no longer have to hear page after page of basically internet erotica and how every single damn thread is no longer hijacked so you have to sort through pages and pages (sometimes 5-10 :O ) of flirting between certain members (not talking about Dottie, her situation just stopped the 2-3 worst offenders). That was certainly a positive change.
Oh, as to why it's being brought up...Uh, something wicked this way comes. lol, j/k, there was a recent....brewhaha tho.

Pryce: Have I missed your response?

Re: Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
^^^ I'm thinking the same thing. I'd still like to see the police & court reports.

Can we read it on the Smoking Gun?

Re: Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
Thank you all for your patience in this matter thus far. There have been some delays in the process, but the interview is still in the works. As soon as it is ready, we will post an update.

Thanks for your questions, Perry. They will be answered to the best of our ability in the interview.

Re: Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
i would also like to know. i joined shortly after this drama happened and it was always unclear, although a member who is an IRL friend cleared some stuff up for me. But i dont like how any time it was mentioned on either site it was always edited... i think the best way to make everyone feel comfortable is to have everything addressed honestly and openly. When things are swept under the carpet it breeds mistrust, and even though i joined after the drama, after being on the site for a bit, reading through old posts with members who had several thousand posts suddenly dropping off or being banned, and some very vague mentions to the situation puzzled me.
I wish that the other site and SW could have a less 'site that shall not be named' attitude. Its like having divorced parents where if you mention one to the other it starts all sorts of stupid bullshit. I think it is silly. And they dont have to be in competition with one another because as perry said, they are different. When i joined the other site first time around it took me a long time to get verified, and even longer to feel comfortable posting because i felt like i was intruding on a group of old friends. i just rejoined again and it feels more welcoming to new members this time around, but even so, its still private. I like the public aspect and openness of SW where new members are welcomed with open arms especially since when i was a newbie i was able to research this site to get all the info i needed to continue dancing. i would have been scared to get verified on a site that was more closed. but there are also many advantages to the private site.
either way, i dont see why people cant swing both ways. i think it would be nice for both communities to expand and to try to co-exist peacefully. and honestly, i think having a less secretive attitude on this matter and on the other site will help expand stripperweb in the long run. I for one would like to see some of the older members who left or are in lurk mode come back and start posting more. I doubt im the only one who feels this way.

Re: Send us your questions regarding "Dottie's Accusation" and the resulting rift.
Personally I don't think it has anything to do with attitude & such. I think the other site isn't supposed to be mentioned here because there is the opportunity that our pink member would go over there & not really come back here. SW doesn't want to lose most of it's pink members, & for many of the blues they come here for the interaction with the pinks. Also, I would say some new dancers might feel more comfortable over there because of it's privacy. I don't think Pryce is exactly rolling in money because of his advertising here. What I do think is that he & the moderators don't want to see all their hard work of putting this site together go down the drain if dancers suddenly decide to stopping coming to SW because of rumors.
I only know about SW & the above mentioned site. I'm not sure what this third site is that people keep talking about unless it's NT, but that site is more for Canada. Other than that all the dancer sites are more just social networking or sites like Britney's. Can someone clue me in?
The way I see it both sites are meant to help other dancers, especially new dancer. Things have changed SIGNIFICANTLY over the years. These sites used to be all about business. More & more I see people discussing their personal lives & other topics that I wouldn't post on the internet personally. I think that is actually why I've backed off from posting as much, I'm here to talk about the industry - not personal stuff.

IMO, the best way to stop rumors is to lay the truth on the table for all to see. if a subject is kept hidden more rumors are bound to spread about it.
I think there is more industry talk here and more personal talk on the other site (at least last time round, i just rejoined so cant say now). since it is private and more tightknit there, people are more comfortable talking about personal stuff. But over here the community is larger and more spread out and the public is free to read so people might be more hesitant over what they post personal wise.
i would like to see more stripping discussed here though. those sections have been a bit less lively than usual :(.

TOO was logged on yesterday I think (saw his name at the bottom), does that have anything to do with the lack of response?

This implies the locker room still exists in one form or another. The lock has just been changed.

I felt like I was starting to go crazy because no one seems to know about that anymore, & I KNEW I remembered it.
What did happen with that?

No, it has to do with my free time to coordinate the interview and funding to get it done. As Tashia posted, we'll update when it is ready.

It implies that there may be a new locker-room in the future, perhaps as a premium service of the site.
