Tips for cam girls with kids
I'm due in a few weeks with my baby boy and I have been struggling to figure out a work schedule for when I go back to work. I want to get in 4-6 hours a day and am hoping to work 2-3 during the day (during naps and having my mom watch him for an hour or two in the evening) and 2-3 hours at night after I get him in bed. I'm going to try to get him on a schedule so that he is in bed by 8 or 9 and that way I will hopefully be able to cam and be done by midnight. I don't know much about infant sleeping habits so my schedule might be unrealistic. I don't want him in daycare so that's not an option. Can I get some advice from moms with kids and what type of schedule will work out for me?
Re: Tips for cam girls with kids
very unrealistic. lol. newborns can sleep all day straight or sleep an hour, wake up for an hour, sleep another hour, etc. You will be VERY tired and probably not able to work right away. Do you have a bf/husband to help out? When mine was first born I couldn't think about showering (nor was I able to for the first few days) let alone working.

well I hate to say this butttttttttttt
Newborns require ALOT of attention. You CANNOT put a newborn baby on a schedule...
Your gonna need some help luv! =(
Re: Tips for cam girls with kids
credibility? I have TWO children!
Re: Tips for cam girls with kids
For the first couple months, I hardly slept at all. Each night my son would wake up every hour, on the hour. OCCASIONALLY he would sleep through the night, but that was a rare treat. It was very difficult dealing with him even though I was living with my parents at the time.
Honestly, if I were to get pregnant again, I'd try to save up enough money so I wouldn't have to work for the first three months or so. After that, babies seem to "mellow out" a little bit, but seriously, the newborn stage is a nightmare.

I did know you were a mother PPG.. very nice to know! :)
I have to disagree with most of what has been said so far. I took care of my daughter all by myself. Yes there is no way you would be able to put a newborn on a schedule. What I did with my daughter was cam whenever she slept. Now that my daughter is 2 years old and I can afford a nanny and a sitter it is easier for me to pretty much do whatever I want. The first couple of months will be tough for you love but You will just have to cam when he sleeps like I did with Melaina.
I have to disagree with those that say you cannot work. I was jogging around the neighborhood days after my pregnancy. I also ate subway during my pregnancy and have been able to maintain a pretty hot body post baby. I went back to work a week later but I never penetrated myself with dildos and such as instructed by the doctor (yes the doctor tells you not to have sex for at least 6 weeks)
It all depends on YOUR body and how you feel. I know some ladies that couldn't even get out of bed after they had their baby and then there are those that pretty much was up and running the next day (like myself) I've just been really lucky even with her dad not really being there most of the time. I had ONE friend that helped me with her when I just couldn't handle her crying and she was a really big help. Hope this helps.

I hope I'm like you Malaya! I'm thinking about getting a mother's helper from care.com to come here for 2 or 3 hours a day. Ugh I really hope this works out 'cause I only have enough saved up to take 6-8 weeks off.

I paid a nanny agency $800 ayear and an additional $400 a week if I need her full time and it's worth it. That would be awesome for you to get help. I don't trust my sister with my daughter because my sister is just an evil bitch. I have no problem paying someone I trust to take care of her and so far I loove my nanny and sitter they're my family. I hope you're as lucky to find a good one. Good luck love and feel free to text me anytime.

i think its is possible to work but depending on how much help you can get it will be very hard, if your looking after a baby full time and camming your not going to have the best oppertunity to bond with your baby, you could cam when she sleeps but theoretically thats when your ment to be asleep yourself right? so your leaving yourself tired, stressed and not in the best mood for customers. the most you will be able to do without help is 4hrs max as thats the time between feeds if your not brestfeeding and if your baby is upset or wont sleep which is a frequent problem then you time slot is even less.
i dont think anyone on here can tell you what its going to be like, you will have to wait and see. you may have the world best behaved baby and be able to cam your ass off, but who knows, good luck!
btw i have 2 children, aged 3 and 4months

I'm going to agree with Malaya on this one. Yeah, it's hard work taking care of a newborn, but you certainly can cam if you have the drive and desire to do so. I am a single mother, and take care of my son alone all day, and cam after he goes to bed. So 5 nights a week, I cam from 8pm-2am. He's almost 2 now, so he sleeps through the night for the most part. However, when he was a newborn and waking up every 2 hours to breastfeed, I still kept the same camming hours, but I worked 6 nights a week to make up for the time that I missed having to log off each night to feed my son and get him back to sleep. Is it hard? Yes. Do I get enough sleep? No. Do I live on Dunkin Donuts coffee? Absolutely. Is staying home with my son while making great money from home worth it? HELL YES!

I agree with CBE here, bonding is SOO important! I have a 6.5 month myself and she is an absolute doll BUT the newborn stage is so hard. No, your baby will not sleep through the night right off the bat, YES he will want to eat every 1.5-2 hours, YES you will be exhausted especially if you are a single mom. I am not a cammer right now so I don't know what its like to do it with a baby. It is possible for you to do it, hell many mothers go work their 9-5 jobs soon after birth but I took 4 months off to be a stay at home mommy and it was the best decision I ever made to devote every second to her and really bond with her. Whatever you do, I wish you the best of luck and I think its awesome that you want to get a ton of money for your little one to give him a great life :) go mommy go!!
Re: Tips for cam girls with kids
I think your main focus should be your newborn. And if we can snap back to reality for a second, everyone cant afford 800$ nanny's. If you can, great.
The reality is, children need there parents attention to bond in the newborn times. I cannot stress how important that is.
Now if you can squeeze some time in do it, but please don't burn yourself out.
congratulations on your baby! =)
