day shift vs. night shift
So i was doing day shift at my club. Since i registered for school :) my schedule is going to be packed! I have classes that range from 2pm-7pm. Besides that i have a daughter to take care of. So i was thinking about spending the day with my daughter, dropping her off at daycare before i go to school, pick her up when i get out, give her a bath n stuff, n then head on to work. But ugh idk if my parents are going to go for that since they watch her of course when i'm not there. ugh it's either that for i'm going to have to quit. plus i heard the money was better for night shift.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
Day shifts tend to be a bit slower & extremely dependent on regulars.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
we go to clubs regularly during the day and interestingly enough...it might take around 1 hour and 30 mins for us to be approached by the first dancer and offered a dance. It's interesting because sometimes we are the only people in a particular club...

Really? I keep hearing that. Especially about Oasis. A lot of men complain that they didn't get offered a dance. :( I'm sorry. I try to offer everyone a dance, they either look at me crazy and say i don't want a dance i'm just here to watch the game and relax...WTF!!!! Then why are you at a strip club, go to a sports bar! Or they say, no that's ok, I'm waiting on so and so. I feel bad because you never know who wants a dance and who doesn't. I don't want to get annoying and go around and whole club and ask people back to back, but sometimes i guess that's what i gotta do.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
Money does tend to be better during the night shift, so you might be able to work fewer shifts per week and spend more time with your daughter. If I were you, I'd try the school in the day/work at night plan and see how it turns out.
Don't feel bad about not knowing who wants a dance and who's just there to hang out. They're in a strip club, so it's fair game to sit with them, flirt, and try to sell them dances. You just have to show them how much more interesting YOU are than the sports on tv or the girls on the stage. ;)

Re: day shift vs. night shift
yep nicole...that happens all the time...but like i said maybe one of these days we'll make it to a club you are at and at least show you a little bit of love...

Re: day shift vs. night shift
Night shifts are definitely busier. I prefer working nights because I like being home for my little munchkins during the day.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
I prefer nights.. anything after 6 is good for me. I dont know how some girls can work lunch hours and around those hours, Im still in bed then.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
I see that you're in ATL. A male friend of mine in FL works at a resort ... a gal who works w/ him in marketing went to ATL back in Feb or March ... worked the weekend at Fanny's and made $2,000. I don't know anything about that club but thought I'd mention it to you. It would be awesome if you could make that kind of money and not have to work that much so you can concentrate on school and have more time w/ your daughter. Other than this I don't know the scene there ... just been told for the past year that there's suppose to be $$ all over ATL. Good Luck! :)

Yes I know people who have done well at Fannies...

the biggest problem with there being money all over atlanta is that it's mostly in the clubs Nicole can't work at, not yet being 21. she's stuck in Duluth, or DeKalb, Forest Park, Marietta, or that one really lame club with 47389275894 girls, Mardi Gras...
another big problem with there being money in atlanta is that it's mostly stage money. $10 table dances. at every. single. club. if you only go on stage a few times, or you don't know how to work it onstage, you make considerably less. i would actually travel back to my home club in Savannah, 4 hours away for the weekend, where i could easily make $5-800 a night, whereas in Atlanta, i was incredibly lucky with $400.
that being said, I always liked working dayshifts, because they were better money for me, since i was a big fish in a small pond.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
I heard that day shifts used to be good in the 90's.
I don't understand why any strip club would even be open before 7pm now days. Why pay employees to do nothing but wait on a handful of customers who can't afford more than one or two discount drinks? Work smarter not harder.

not always. the clubs that don't make money during the day, just don't open during the day. i worked at lots of clubs that did this. but the ones that do operate during the day often have a pretty good lunch crowd. i worked lots of day shifts in atlanta, mostly because i wanted my weekend nights to party and travel, but lots of nicer, less obnoxious, older men came in during the day, and spent considerable money. one would think it's the opposite, the people who want to stay out till 4 am are the cheap kids. at the club i work now, we have a "cheapass night: - $2 drinks. i like to work day-midshift on that day, because nicer men come in for lunch and a view, it's the kids who come in at night for the drink specials.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
I've always preferred to work afternoons-early evenings. I don't like late nights when the clubs is packed with girls and kids - there is just too much going on around me for comfort.
I always made money during day shifts from regular patrons and loved that I could count on them for money-- the same never held true for night shifts.

That's good to hear! Do you know the license cost? All I know is there are 4 counties in ATL and the license is $250-$350 ... and I don't know where Fannies is located. Also, do you know if they like Polynesian gals? What about body art? I have A LOT of ink and 2 piercings.
Sorry Nicole89 ... don't mean to highjack your thread. Hope you don't mind me asking questions here.

Oh ... I didn't know Nicole is under 21 ... thanks for letting me know.
I didn't know it's mostly stage. Well I can't do the ass clap thing or pole work ... I'm more of the sensual stage performer ... they might not like me there. And if it's only table dances ... meaning air dances ... I can't sell those to save my life! Hmmm, ATL might not be the place for me to try ... especially w/ the high license cost.
Sounds more difficult in ATL than I thought. Great info! Thanks for posting :)

Cool girl! Thanks! :)
Freaking ouch on the $300 license! Once you're 21 you'll have more opportunities for clubs. In the meantime I hope you find a club you like, are happy, feel safe and make $$! Good Luck! :)

Thanks babe! But I think I'm going to just have to quit and wait until I'm 21 because Oasis is the best club in Dekalb County. O well I'll just have to get over the $300.

Bummer Oasis isn't gonna work out or other clubs. You're absolutely GORGEOUS and when you're 21 soooooo many doors will open for you! Enjoy school & your daughter ... time goes by so quickly! Take care sweetie :)

Re: day shift vs. night shift
I prefer night shift. It's faster paced and I don't have to talk as much before making sales.
-
Re: day shift vs. night shift
I hate drunk customers. It's always a recipe for me getting my pussy grabbed, getting ripped off, getting insulted, etc.etc. People act irresponsible and blame it on the booze and think that makes everything ok.
I like being around sober, older gentlemen during the day. I just click w/ them better than piss-drunk douchey fratboys who can't pay me cuz they're stumbling around looking for their wallets.

Re: day shift vs. night shift
Day shift is good depending on the area and club. For me, it's been SUPER slow

Re: day shift vs. night shift
I use to work day shift back in Vegas.
I'd go in at 11am....I had a ton of regulars though.
Not many clubs out here are open during the day. I think if they were, it'd be a waste.
At least in Vegas, there's tourists for the clubs to be able to survive being open 24/7.
I'm liking the night shift though. I get to do stuff during the day. Keeps my day pretty busy so I'm not so bored. :P
