How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
I really need money right now but sometimes I think that what I am making at the club right now I could probably do with camming with some effort. I just started dancing again and seem to only be averageing about $200-$300 a night. Sometimes I feel like I should be making more but there are sooo many girls right now at my club, alot of extras and it's summer, I dont know if that is enough to continue or justify stripping at 30 years old, I'm so confused I dont know if to concentrate on camming or stay at the club, what are your guys opinions on this?

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
$200-300 a night is pretty much average. If its worth it or not is for you to decide. Personally, $300 Im ok with. $200, I'll be a lil cranky but its not that bad. I guess if I was making less than $200 after tip out then it wouldnt be worth it for me.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
I want to say it depends on the day of the week, and the type of club you're at.
ex. I'd expect to make a significantly higher amount at a full nude club vs topless.
At the club I'm at now I've actually tended to get luckier during the week & make more than the weekend, but it ends up being all from 1 or 2 custs. On a standard week night (mon-wens) I aim for $300. Thurs-Sat I generally set a goal at $500. I believe these are probably pretty standard across the board with the exceptions of Manhattan, Vegas, or Miami, right?
**goals are meant to be exceeded of course ;P
(this is with the summer season considered, once football games start & the snowbirds come back it definitely increases)

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
If I make $200-$300 a night, that's great to me.
I like to make at least $150 a night. I'm happy then. Even if I leave with $100, I'm okay.
I think it just varies from girl to girl. What kind of lifestyle you live. Bills, if you have a SO...etc, etc.
Like Raichel said too, it varies from club to club, season to season. Just depends.
Personally, I think $300 a night is great. That'd be $900-$1200 a week for me. That's my rent and bills. Then whatever I make the rest of the month (not counting my husband's tips/checks)....all extra/savings money. :)

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
Daisy I agree $300 I'm ok with but when it's $200 that's when I question it, I mean I've only done 4 shifts since going back after 3 years and it is summer but damn I really wish I could average at least $400 a shift. maybe I'm not trying hard enough I don't know, doesn't help my feet are always killing me in the shoes and I have to sit for awhile, I'm sooo confused. My club is actually in Queens and it gets busy but just so many girls. It is more like a second tier club. I would try Manhattan but those house fees scare the crap outta me and I'm thin but with big butt and hips so I know they aren't fans of that.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
$350 +
My dancer average over the last 8 months a little over $350 a night, but some of the places I go are really out there. That's not counting driving. I am pretty happy if I can make 1k in two days ( that's 16-22 hours at the club and 7 driving ). I'm less happy if it take me three days to make that, but still grateful. When it take 4 days to make 1 k ... not happy ( but I would be if I didn't have ridiculous commutes to clubs). I had a bad patch a couple weeks ago where my average went down and now it's back. May edit out in a bit,so please don't quote.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
500$. Im unhappy with less than that. Eh, 400 doesn't piss me off Im just a little dissapointed but if I start to average 400$ or below than it's not worth it to me
-
Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
I wouldn't do it for less than $200 a night.
-
Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
What I'm making right now is technically not worth it to me, but I know it's only temporary because of the season and location I am in... When it's season I like at least 500, but right now my average is a lot less

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
$200-$300 a night is fine for me. I don't really see the appeal of camming though. It sounds like you make less than in the club, and lose control over your image. The convenience of staying at home doesn't even begin to seem worth it to me.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
Yeh i sort of wish i hadnt done camming and went straight to dancing. Now my images may come back to haunt me one day! I don't even cam anymore at all. And the money wasnt great.
I think it makes sense to break it down in different ways. I'm happy making $800/week on dayshift. I can pay my bills and pay off student loans and pay to fix up the car i just got, etc. I like my schedule, too, and the fact that this is the slow season so hopefully when i work at this club in the busy season my earnings will increase.
If I were working, say, 10-hr or 12-hr shifts (hey, it happens in some places!), 5 days a week, at night, no I would not be happy w/ that amount. That's $13-$16/hr, and having to come home at 3AM exhausted and miserable.
I might not be happy if I had to support 3 kids, some pets and a sick parent.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
That's a great way to look at it, weekly instead of daily, lately just working 8 hrs has got me exhausted but it's prob cuz I'm not use to it anymore, I hear girls making so much or just as much camming so I wonder if I just didn't put in enough, but I also lack discipline working at home. I get lazy and rather do something else a lot of times so that's why I feel like I didn't try hard enough, ugghh so confusing!

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
$150-$200 in one shift on cam (2 hours) 300-400 total because I now work 2 shifts a day (4 hours total)
No sweaty hands touching me and no walking around for free
No tipping out
No managers and bouncers trying to fuck me
No having to worry about gas money to drive to work because I work from home
No nasty attitudes to deal with
No bruising
No pain from walking/dancing in 5 inch heels all night.
No loud ass music
I'll take camming over dancing anyday. Dancing just seems like a waste of time nowadays. The funny thing is when I did dance I made more than a lot of girls at my club being a very clean dancer (However I was not the top earner)
$200-$300 is what I keep reading but how long would I have to be in the club? this is what I wanna know. Like how long is a shift? $200-$500 in 6-8 I'd go home and cry. Just because of all the shit I have to put up with dancing.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
That's what I'm saying Malaya , I know there is potential in camming if i stop being such a lazy ass, lol. I feel like in the end I'm dealing with so much more when dancing, it just sux I need the cash asap, where are u camming Malaya?

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
webcams.com nowadays more than anywhere else. MFC I quit too many stupid chicks doing free shows and it started getting to me. Just do what makes you happy and don't listen to what others say because what works for one person won't always work for you and vice versa. Good luck!

This is true for me too. My earnings are all over the place, but on week nights its about $300 on average. Not enough for a full contact, full nude club; BUT I know business gets better when the weather gets colder.
If you think you can make as much camming, and you're alright with camming, I would say go with that. Less tolling, and you never have to worry about driving to the club.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
I make average of $150-200 a night. and that is pretty decent for Portland, OR, which sucks. I have never broken $500, my biggest night was $480 and I've been dancing for about two years.
Right now I am looking for a day job because I am just too frustrated. $300-500 a night would be worth it to me.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
i admire ALL of you for your efforts...however...you may want to look at it this way....$ 150.00 divided by 8 is 18.75 per hour...considering this is the MINIMUM it seems anyone posting in this forum is making...i'd say that ALL of you are making more than not only the average recent college graduate (not including special disciplines), but at this point you are making more than the average American Citizen...PLUS you have that one night where you OVERACHIEVE...AND REMEMBER MOST DANCERS ARE NOT TAXED UPFRONT!!! Not too bad in a shitty economy where the specialist(s) can't even find a job in their field LOL

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
150-200 average for a 6 hour shift. If i'm making that much as a minimum, i'm happy.

I have never broken 500 either, BUT the closest I've come to breaking it was about 480 too, and that was in a NO contact pasties club. For me, more contact=less money. Guys get more for less, and you know the saying... give them an inch and they'll take a mile.
I am officially retired from dancing. I would rather do pretty much anything in the adult industry EXCEPT dance. It was great at first, but the money isn't worth it anymore.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
i aim for $200 during the week, working a 5 hour shift. on the weekends i do more, between $300 and $600. the most i ever made was $1200, on thanksgiving...i haven't since come close to that. >.<
my club is really close to my house, and house/tipout equals about $40. i also live in a place where my rent and bills are CHEAP ($900 a month - rent, cable, internet, gas, water, electric, parking and gas). so i'm really satisfied if i can make it in a week, and save up all the rest. :D

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
I can see why some of you ladies say dancing is not worth it anymore. I don't think I could work in an area where $500 on a weekend is hard to come by.
Taking your clothes off 4 nights a week and barely making a $800 bucks has got to be emotionally taxing.

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
I personally get really really upset when I make less than $600. I mean if for whatever reason I stopped making my average I'd be okay with averaging a low number like $200-$300 simply because I know I probably wouldn't be able to make this money elsewhere nor have the flexibility stripping gives me.
Though I have to average at least $500 a night since I have to travel to work every weekend and my bills are rather pricey.
-
Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
$500 is my minimum average (5-6 hr shift). I usually make more, but occasionally I'll make between 300 & 500 and then a bad night would be anything below 300. I live in an area where I could easily make a couple hundred dollars in tips on top of an hourly wage being a cocktail waitress, so for dancing to truely be worth the hassle I need to be consistently making over 500 a shift. The club where I dance now has high tipouts on top of house fee ($30 - $70 house, 20% tipout), so the more you make = the more money you have to fork over. Say I get there a little early, pay $30 to work and at the end of the night have $1,000. After my fees I walk with $770. If I had made $500 I'd be walking with only $370! Bull. Shit. Lol

Re: How much a night makes it worth stripping to you?
For me, I am upset if I make under $200 on a weeknight. I am disappointed with $200-300, but I'll take it. This is from getting on the floor at 8 and leaving the floor at 145. On a weekend, I am upset at $300, disappointed with $3-400. This is working from 8/9ish til 4am. This is all after tipout.
If I was consistently making those low-end numbers, I would switch clubs, which I will be doing soon more than likely if it doesn't pick up real soon.
Or, I could put it this way-If, on a weeknight, I was making under 40/hr I start being a bit upset. If on a weekend I am making under 50/hr, I start getting upset.
