Can you do the splits onto the pole? (As in, your leg is pressed against the pole vertically)
nope thats a hard one wow how can i ready myself to do that one?
^ Yeah, I thought it was easy (I can do the splits)...until I tried it! Now I have new appreciation for girls who can do that trick.
I would practice by doing the splits on the ground and gradually working towards being able to touch your head to your knee. Then try it vertically!
Something not as hard as that, but still difficult is a backwards pole spin in 3/4 center splits. I had to be pushed into it the first time because I was so worried I was going to fall off!
When I was younger I would do the "rocking horse" on stage... don't do it though. Looking back, it was really stupid. It took about a year before I saw another dancer do it on stage & I realized how awful it looked! I'm very flexible though, & can easily get the heels of my feet past my chin. If you don't know what the rocking horse is watch this, & imagine the girl getting the heels of her feet past her chin.

lucky you! I am not flexi at all. But I do know that you can practice doing the pole splits by doing the slits standing on a wall. So stand as close to the wall as you can and get the leg up on the wall and get closer and closer until you can do it.
I liked to kneel on one knee (more like a side lunge?) with my back to the audience and tuck my shoulder under my raised leg. But I'd be kind of spread out, like everything was really extended so it looked good *from the right angle.* I'm sure it looked stupid from most other angles. . . .
Wait.. you seriously did this on stage? And you saw another girl do it too??
Besides how it looks, I wouldn't want my stomach and chest to be covered in stage like that. I'm not trying to be a bitch though, it's not like you still do it and think it's awesome. That's just too funny to imagine, esp if you were naked.
I worked so hard to learn the splits against the pole. So worth it. Also try this one...

Yes, that is me. No it isn't easy the first time in heels...but that passes.
I was going to tell you. A scorpion looks really nice. Even better if you don't have to hold the pole while doing it. I do it sometimes.
Yes, I did that at totally nude clubs. I'm actually glad I saw another dancer do it... I'd probably still be doing it to this day if I didn't realize how stupid it looked when I saw her do it.
I've seen girls stand on one leg & put the other behind their head too. I've never heard a customer say that is sexy though. What it comes down to is doing things like that makes you look like a circus performer... & most people don't want to buy a lap dance from a circus performer.
pixie, your scorpion looks nice!
my god, my god, lmao circus performers, though?
^^ yeah, someone somewhere around this forum has said, "this is not gymnastics class." but I still enjoy putting on an interesting show!!
I put both my feet behind my head. I find it gets an audience. I also do the horizontial splits and land on the stage. I recomend lots of eye contact always even if your stage sucks (mine do compared to my pole kitty friends) if you can make your customer feel special they will reciprocate.
