mac users?
Hi guys first of all great forum! I read the thread for mac users about using boot camp to split the harddrive and run windows on it.
I was wondering though, if i do this can it be reversed? Like if I make enough to buy a windows laptop can I reverse the split on my mac as I don't know if I want to have windows on it forever but I can't afford to buy a new computer at the moment. :(
Also I have 250G of space on my mac harddrive so I was wondering how much I would need to split it to efficiently run a couple of cam sites from. (mfc, streamate, ifriends)
Thanks in advance all!

Re: mac users?
Hopefully you will get some helpful info from those here who have computer skilz. I have a Mac Book Pro running Parallels for the three Windows only applications I need for work. It's worked out OK for me so far. Good luck in getting the info you need!

Yeah try parallels-for me though I couldn't even get the demo to finish installling on my comp -have no clue why though. I may end up buying a pc just for camming once i get the money to do so.

Re: mac users?
You can delete the windows operating system from the Mac anytime you decide that you don't want to use it anymore.
Camming efficiently is more a function of RAM than it is the size of your hard drive. If you have a really old machine with a gig or less of ram it could give you problems. Two to four gigs would be ideal. I know a cam gal who keeps two or three sites going at once with 4 gigs or ram and has no glitch or freezing problems

Re: mac users?
YOU DON'T NEED WINDOWS TO CAM.
Just make sure you have Flash and you'll be fine on ANY Mac.

Re: mac users?
Since we're on topic about Mac's I'm trying to get new webcam for Mac.
I'm wondering if anyone uses Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac ?
This is the next webcam want to get and read several reviews about it on Amazon.com one person in the review said that it won't work if using it for webcam chat site. I'm not sure if this person have flash install as the reason why can't use it or just still don't work with flash install.
I'm curious if anyone able to use this webcam while camming ?
I've been for now just using i-sight but want to which to Logitech.
I wish MFC made it available to Mac users and not require Parallel right now can't afford to get it plus Windows software.
