NOLA - Current information
Alright, some friends from work in Michigan are heading down to NOLA for a few weeks to work. I was invited but am only staying a few days because of my son's custody arrangement. I haven't purchased my plane ticket yet but am planning to tomorrow, pending a SW investigation }:D. The girls from my work have been there several times and say they make good money, enough to make the plane ticket (about $500 round trip) and the hotel worth it. Has anyone been down there lately? How rampant are extras/raids? No dance card needed I presume.
I'm looking forward to going but only if I'll make more than I would at home. I do good working Thursday-Saturday at my work and I have to give up my Sunday night shift which is always a good $350-400 for me because of my flight back if I go.
So, is it worth it? And, what clubs are doing well right now?
I'm not trying to get down there and make $1,000 in three days, because I can do that at home and would barely break even after my travel, food, and hotel costs.
Thanks!

Re: NOLA - Current information
When I was there I worked at Hustler and Barley Legal. I made a lot of money very fast. But I did work from 630 at night until 7am. Normally otherwise I wouldn't have but it was worth it. I went during Mardi Gras. I have friends that go down there during only certain times of the year because of the more money flowing around.

Re: NOLA - Current information
New Orleans is only good during the Spring, Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest (kind of).

Re: NOLA - Current information
Ive worked with a girl since june who flys out every week to work fri and sat. She works at ricks and told me 500 is a bad night for her. I didnt ask her any other info as to how long shes worked there but I am not a fan of new orleans. I like normal white collar gents like I get in ny and chicago. I did ask her even in the summer you do well and she said yes. I would think if shes flying out every week to work only 2 days she must be but she is definitely very barbie looking tall thin blonde, big boobs and NICE body!

Re: NOLA - Current information
I'd like to work NOLA in Nov. or Dec. ( when it gets cold in my home area ). I wonder if it would be ok then. I'd probably stay 10 days and work 7 out of the 10.

Re: NOLA - Current information
One of my weekly pole students flys to Nola every weekend. She always walks with about $2,000. The last few weeks she has had to stay 3 days to make it (instead of her regular 2), but she always does. She works at Hustler. And yes, she is blonde, tan, great body and big fake boobies.

Re: NOLA - Current information
^ I wonder if its the same girl and if it is I wonder why she even bothers with tampa at this time?

Re: NOLA - Current information
A few major HOT hustlers from Dallas went recently, they're Lodge girls, and they came back pissed because they didn't make money. Keep in mind that new Orleans is a totally different hustle, and especially if you're new it's like las Vegas. I don't even go there anymore because the money is better in Dallas right now anyways.

Re: NOLA - Current information
I loved Dallas! New orleans just wasnt my type of place. Too hot and to many drunk guys.

Re: NOLA - Current information
Laurisa, keep on mind that any of the chain of hustler clubs (hustler, barely legal, little darlings, Deja vu) will HOLD any amount of funny money over 1000$ for a MONTH. So, if you have a really good night, you're only going to walk with 1k max, then you will have flyback weeks later to get the rest, and that's only if they didn't sober up and realize WTF did I do and dispute it, in which case you WON'T get paid, then they will give you the difference in the form of a CHECK if they don't end up disputing it.
I highly recommend that while you're there, to work at visions. It's always packed, and you would be one of the hottest girls there, I've seen your pictures. The bourbon street clubs are very cut throat, and you may end up hating them!

you bring up a good point here about liking "normal"
white collar guys. Nola is NOT for everyone. It is a drunk tourist party crowd. If you like regulars or soft conversation or sober customers etc etc you won't like it there. But if you are loud fast and aggressive and quickly send the message that you are super super fun to party with in the champagne room and whee vacation in new Orleans party party then you will do well. But it's a different hustle.

yawn. Is this the same girl who you told me about on the phone who said a bad night at hustler was 1G? Maybe specifically for her it was, maybe. But I worked at hustler and most girls were doing Pretty well, but not well enough to call a G a bad night. Also should be noted that this girl was probably working long hours because house fee magically turns to 100$ at 10pm an if she is coming in on the weekends it is open till 6 and there is a 50$ fee for leaving early. So this would be for an 8
hr shift. Which is longer than many girls want to work (though some do have the stamina).
Also, At least in my opinion, anything Nakita posts about earnings should be taken with a grain of salt-- I remember her one time telling me about a "guarateed 1500$ a night club" (her words) in the Dakotas-- and any dancer with some intelligence knowsthat there is no such thing as a guaranteed 1500$ a night club unless the club itself hands you that every time you walk in the door.
So yea- point being to girls reading this-- the same as everything else in this industry, if you all run to an area assumig that you will make 1k a night with no hustle skills then you will probably be let down. Yes, me, some others, Michelle friend, and nakita's student may be banking, but I know at least me personally has awesome sales skills. Does the idea of selling a 1500$ hour long champagne room scare you? If it does you pobably won't sell it. And most of the girls there only sell the more expensive rooms once in a blue moon- usually if they sell a room it ends up being one of the lower end rooms where the rates are pretty much the same as everywhere else (250$ half hr you keep 150, 400 hour you keep less than 250). And if you can only sell those rates, don't expect to make more than you will in other areas. I didn't get aroud to selling the more expensive rooms till my 3rd week of livig in nola-- and once I learned how to then it was easy. But there was a learnig curve and you probably are not going to learn how to sell them within 2 nights... And some girls sadly never will :(

That type of hustle is fine with me, I'm aggressive and make 90% of my money in my home club selling VIPs. So, selling a $1500 CR does not intimidate me--it excites me! And, I work 7-9 hour shifts EVERY night, it's required at my home club so that doesn't scare me either. I think I'll do quite well and will push for CR just like with VIP rooms at home!

It's only the clubs in new Orleans that do this.

I so agree with this rant in general Athena. I don't get girls who try and travel to make 1k/night when they can't make it in their own club. Lots of girls at my club travel HOURS every weekend to try and make a grand at a different club because 'Sugar' said she did once. In the end, the girls don't make more than they would in their home club, and clog up whatever club is deemed 'good money' that week. As long as the opportunities are there (champagne rooms, booths, etc) then learn to make it at home before you go elsewhere.
Sorry off topic, but had to say it.
@ Laurisa - the above isn't targeted at you, more so at girls who can't hustle well and have no common sense. I wish you the best on your working strip-cation and hope you do really well!

Re: NOLA - Current information
^^yea. I like traveling because I ge bored easily and it fights burnout. And sometimes you will find a spot that really suits you. But a spot thy suits one girl won't suit all girl.
For instance, nola suits me perfectly but michelle11 doesn't like it due to drunk tourists who are obnoxious. But I'm great with these guys and I'd be willing to bet I could outearn her-- in new Orleans at least. But she says she likes normal white collar dudes and she likes working in Dallas-- I do not like working in Dallas and it doesn't mesh with my personality. I am sure she could destroy me in Dallas because although I did ok there, I was definitely never a top girl there because it wasn't my hustle.
Lots of girls all pay a plane fare to go to these cities-- Dallas, Vegas, new Orleans, whatever And it's only financially worthwhile for a few. I think the best way to handle traveling is to go partly for recreational purposes and keep an open mind about work. That way if it is a flop then you won't feel like your trip was wasted. The wrong way to travel is to hear a rumor that everybody makes 1000$ in ____ city and rush out there.
Obviously that is not what laurisa is doin since she is visiting a friend as well as researching her options. But too many naive girls with a "grass is greener" compex do it. And heck, isn't that (coupled with the recession) part of what ruined Vegas?

Re: NOLA - Current information
Athena bought my first house at 21 and own three. Iam a top earner EVERYWERE I work. Djoser can attest to this! I didnt say I didnt make money, I said I dont prefer it there. Iam spoiled from working top clubs in manhattan and allover the country that have 100 plus girls a night. I just prefer white collar guys I can have a nice conversation and I am use to sitting on my ass to make my money. I do well in key west again I have the highest champagne room sales when I work there but you deal withrich drunk multi millionaires there who fly in in private jets. Dont make this a thread about who earns what becuse I work in clubs with 100-150 a girls and am a top earner.
-
Re: NOLA - Current information
^sorry wasn't meaning to insult your hustling skills. What I mean is I usually come out on top in nola and beat girls who would might outearn me in a more sit down club. Probably shouldn't have used you as an example considering i haven met you and am making assumptions -- I just assumed that you didn't do as well in nola which is hy you didn't like it. I don't like Dallas because I don't come out on top- I'm very impatient and don't like the slow sitdown hustle so while I do well there I am not a top earner there.
And I didn't want this to be a thread about who earns what-- but saying a bad night for one girl is 500 (which I don't doubt) or another girl always makes 2k a weekend turned it into who earns what. Reality is most girls in nola don't consider 500 to be a bad night or expect to make 2k in 2 days. Of course the top ones will though. But if girls on sw assume these are what the average nola dancer makes, well that's not fair to them or to the local girls who would not appreciate the flooding.
Apologies, no offence was intended.

No, this girl works @ Hustler, not Ricks. The only time she works in Tampa is @ Penthouse when she has a regular custie make an appointment to see her there.

Either I mispoke, or you misheard me. I said under a grand a night is bad for her. And, as I stated before- lately she has had to work 3 nights to make that 2k. So technically, she has had a lot of "New Orleans" bad nights lately. However, anything over $500/shift is better than Tampa. Which, is why she goes to NOLA!
Also should be noted that this girl was probably working long hours because house fee magically turns to 100$ at 10pm an if she is coming in on the weekends it is open till 6 and there is a 50$ fee for leaving early. So this would be for an 8

Well I didn't say that she was lazy and yes, she works full shifts and leaves at 6am.
Also, At least in my opinion, anything Nakita posts about earnings should be taken with a grain of salt-- I remember her one time telling me about a "guarateed 1500$ a night club" (her words) in the Dakotas--
I don't think you heard me right again, but FYI- it's called hunting season. There are 10 days where last year it was an easy $10,000. I may have said an easy $1500/day. I doubt I said a guarantee other than the job guarantee.
Trying to make me out to be a liar again. Nice. I don't post unless its a subject that I have some knowledge of. I do realize that in posting my student's success in NOLA, that I may have created false hope. I was merely trying to explain that there is a possibility of $ there. That's all.
