Re: well...my parents came into my job
Definitely give up the car. Let it go. If you have the money, buy a POS for 500-1000 bucks until you can save up for the downpayment on a decent one. If your credit is shit, you'll have to buy your next car (the non-POS) outright, but as long as you're realistic and don't have some bullshit ideas about getting an expensive car when you've got other shit that needs to be paid for first (tuition) you should be OK. Don't forget that SCHOOL COMES FIRST. After you get your newer (10 years or less) decent car, make sure tuition, a few months' bills, and taxes are always your top financial priority.
You want to make the most of this, and with your parents acting like jerks you're going to have to be REALLY fucking independent and smart with your money.
Good luck.
Re: well...my parents came into my job
They're mad at you for working, when they were there patronizing the place? Cute.
Time to be a big girl honey. Move out, keep going to school, keep working, keep paying the bills. It's all you can do. They'll come around, or they won't, and you can't help that. The problem here isn't you.
Re: well...my parents came into my job
I have nightmares of this happening! Thats why I live in a different country to do it, but whenever my Dad visits I try to take time off, or give his picture to security so they won't let him in.
