how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
the club I work at now has pretty reasonably priced champagne rooms and I can sell them if I try hard
I met a girl last night at my club who said her club charges 240 for a half hour VIP with no champagne or drinks included and no contact
they don't have 15 minute VIPs either. only the 30 minute or full hour for 400.
my question is...how the HELL would you sell that? ...maybe I'm just used to my club where nobody walks in with over 100 dollars in their pocket...ever...I've never been to that club so I don't know how upscale it is, but I haven't heard much about it so I'm assuming it can't be THAT great.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
The Lodge in Dallas doesn't have any "set" pricing. Most girls charge $500/hour, but the club does not collect for us nor do they time it.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
if you work at a club that (a) isn't a whorehouse and (b) has a decent amount of customers coming in, at least some of whom have at least a couple hundred available to spend, it really isn't all that hard to sell a room. with time, you'll figure out what helps you get it faster and gets them to stay there longer and spend more.
and just because you haven't heard a lot about the club doesn't mean it sucks.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
We have three for a hundred (I just tell the customer 15 minutes) 30 for $300 and 60 for $500. I sell about three or four 30 minutes a night depending on how busy it is. They are pretty easy to upsell from floor dances, you just have to know how to word it correctly. The way I sell 60 minutes (which I do maybe one or two each weekend) is I'll tell a customer once they are back in VIP that they are saving money by going for the hour because if they want more in the 30 minutes then they're going to pay $600 instead of $500; this always seems to work on customers that have loads of money to spend. Though I do frequently get people that do back to back 30 minutes (which is more money for me) because they think $500 upfront is too much. Because of that, I always push hardest for 30 minutes.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
3 songs for $100
15min for $130
30min for $260
45min for $390
1 hour for $520
When I speak with a customer about VIP I almost always give either the 1 hour option OR the 30 minute option ONLY
If he is hesitant I say "well our curtain room is only $130 for 15 minutes"
If he is STILL hesitant, I'll mention the 3 or $100

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
The last club I danced at was 30 minutes for $100. :O
Otherwise known as 'a total waste of time/effort.'

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
We have 10 or 20 dollar table dances (depending on the day) and 250/hr "vip"s where we go to a different section of the club (but it's still open). I find those hard to sell, and actually rarely bother because table dances are often a huge ordeal to sell.

It's awful. Especially considering the normal lap dances are the typical $20/song. Meaning a CR there is basically a 50% discount from the LD price. Which is NOT the point of a CR, as we all know...
A few weeks ago I did 5 CR's in a row. Which SUCKED.
$70/CR (my cut) = 2.5 hours = $350.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
^ Seriously? That's so irritating! Way too much work for $350. You really should try one of those nicer, upscale clubs that you love looking at. Seriously. You could make more money for the same effort Charlie!
I hate the way our club organizes our VIP (or 'booths' as we call them).
Firstly, there are booths downstairs and upstairs. Upstairs is considered VIP, regardless if you're out in the open or in a booth, and it's $20 cover.
Booths upstairs AND downstairs are $80/hour, split between as many guys as the costumers choose (so for 4 guys it would be $20/each). If you go to the booth upstairs then each individual person must pay a $20/cover.
On top of that confusion, add in the fact that the men pay the dancers separately. They can do an hour for $300, half hour for $150 or $20/song. If they pay with credit card the club charges a 10% transaction fee on both the dances and the room (on two different tabs, no less).
Try explaining THAT to a drunk group of bachelors! It's a nightmare! I wish the club would just round out the prices and say "$400/hour for dancer and room" - would be better for the girls and the club.
Anyway - the club takes %15 of anything we make in credit cards, and more than that depending on how much the costumer spends (it's a sliding scale). It's confusing, and I honesty think management is ripping us off most of the time. I wanna find a new club but this is 'the best in town'.....

You're making in 30 minutes what our club charges for 60. I wish our club would charge more - they really should. We're not allowed to up the prices OR ask for tips either.
But, if you charge $100 for 15 minutes, then isn't it cheaper for the customer too keep buying dances in 15 minute increments? At that rate it would be 30 minutes for $200, instead of the $300 you mentioned. Do you get something extra (nicer room, drinks) for buying the 30minutes for $300?

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
Honestly... I've never had a problem selling VIPs... I sold them by giving good dances. More often than not, customers would ask me if I wanted to do a VIP.
$200/half hour
Alternately... if the customer didn't ask... My club was one of those "get the money up front" places... so after the first dance when they had to pull their wallet BACK out... I'd just tell them that if they wanted to keep going for a while we should just go do a VIP since there's more room and they don't have to keep stopping to pay at each song.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
It's 250/h for a VIP booth at my club. Too cheap IMO.
-
Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
we don't have "set" pricing either. most girls charge anywhere from $160 to $250 for half an hour, and $300 to $500 for an hour, depending on the girl.
Half hour VIPs are fairly easy to sell (the hustlers get 1 to 2 a day, at least) but the hour long ones are harder; I still haven't sold one.
As on how to sell one, I tell them that they should get a VIP because it's:
* more private
* more close and personal
* i don't have to go on stage so they get to spend more time with me
* they get a better experience
* if they just want dances, they end up getting more dances in vip for that half hour than on the floor for the same amount of money (i dont think this is actually true but they seem to believe it)

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
Threadjack: I've been reading a sales book lately and one of the strategies that companies use to get a customer to spend more than they wish is to give them several choices, of which one is ridiculously expensive, that way the other choices look better in comparison. The logic behind this is that prices are arbitrary - customers never really know how much value a thing has, unless that thing compared to another one. I believe this technique is called anchoring. This is why high end brands such as prada can have several absolutely ridiculous priced items (such as a purse for $29,000 and then several less expensive ones such as $3000; that way the $3000 one looks better in comparison).
So in my case, since my intention is to sell more half hour VIPS, than hour ones (this is based on many reasons: more custsys can afford a half hour, i don't really like doing hour ones because i get too tired, etc), would the following work?
I tell them first that hour VIP is $500 but that a half hour is only $200. This is the opposite of what a customer would normally expect to hear (usually the more time you buy in private, the cheaper it is). I don't talk to them about the regular dances which are only $25. Based on this information, $200 for half hour is a logical and easy choice to make! So with this logic, you could turn a customer that usually only gets single dances into a vip customer, since he is clearly getting a deal!
I haven't tried this approach yet because I've been sick and staying at home but I will try it the next time I'm at work.
Do you guys think it would work? Has anyone tried anything similiar to this?

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
Although we do have set prices alot of us make our own and most of managers agree that as long as we are not UNDER or seriously OVER charging as long as the client is willing to pay it it's fine.
Club Prices
25 on the floor
35 VIP
3 for 100
250 30 mins
500 hour
I personally charge 35 a song on the floor ( when I can get it which is often)
3 songs for 100 (unless an established regular or a nice couple)
300 a 1/2 hour
500-600 an hour ( fetish clients I charge more or guys I don't know)
The lowest I have gone for an established regular was 200 a half/400 an hour
At this club we keep all tips over house unless you wish to tip out security and or staff. This is Vegas so 10% is the minimum preferably 20% but I only do that when the security/host finds a client for me or does something special.
As far as selling goes it really depends on the client. If they are looking for privacy and coversation sell it, If they want to go somewhere quiet sell that if they want to "think" (we are no contact) that they are gonna get something special sell that with reservation (well out here you have everyone watching back there its just us) always make your private sections sound like the best option. You are worth it!!!
I had a guy who started with 2 3 for 100's last night and just mostly wanted to chat. After the second 3 for 100 I told him you know we can do time and that way not only do I get off the rotation but we don't have... to... count.. EVERY SINGLE SONG.. we can just focus on each other having a great time together. He went to the ATM and got enough for an hour. It was a dead slow Wednesday and being as I sold to him in his language he bought it. You really have to know what your client is looking for and he/she/they will purchase for the person who can provide it.

Clearly depends on your location. At my club it's 500 for 1/2 hr and 1000/hr and we sell them the same way anyone else sells a room. No drinks included, we usually try to get them to buy a bottle of champagne for $300-800. But there certainly is touching, that's a main selling point since there is no touching at all on the floor. I don't know how she sells a room with no contact to be honest, but maybe that's a location thing too.
We only get $300 and $500 out of that cost though. So it def is a pain in the ass to be selling something for about double what I'm getting!
Luckily we do also have 10 and 20 min booths for 120/240 of which we get 90/180 as an option for guys who don't have the time, money, or desire for a CR.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
With where I am working we have all set prices
20 for a lap dance per song
150-15 min vip
300-30 min vip
600-hour vip
No alcohol is included, but they normally buy drinks...
Now the sucky part is that out of those prices, we get 100 for the 15, 200 for the 30 and 400 for the hour and its given to us in "funny money" which when you go cash in they take 10% and then there is the house fees and tip outs...I could probably make a good living on what they take from me lol

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
I'm still waiting for my old club to reopen, so I dunno of my boss will be changing the prices, but where I worked this Summer there were 2 types of VIP.
The basic VIP was €150 for 30mins or €300 for an hour (no drinks)
The super VIP was €150 for 15mins, €300 for half an hour or €600 per hour
I only ever sold the super VIP cause the guys never asked how long they'd get so for €150 I just took them stright into super and did 15mins.

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
as far as pricing structures go, i'd say where i'm at now is prob the best i've experienced. its standard 500/hr that all goes to you and sometimes you can charge more (or less). floor dances are 20 but when it's busy you can charge more. i usually say 30 or 40 for a dance with touching. you keep all that.
the club i worked at in philly was prob the worst. the guys would charge 600 on their card and i'd only get 375. plus they take five bucks from every $20 floor dance and tuesdays were 2 for $25 til midnight (and they take five still).
but damn i feel spoiled after reading some of these. $1000 for an hour and you only take home 500?!?! and 250 for an hour? jeeezzzz f that idk how y'all do it
-
Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
My club does:
30 for topless (4min)
60 for nude (4min)
120 for 15min topless
I think 180 for for nude 15min
230 for 30min
400 for 1hr
The prices are wonky if you ask me. I always say my dances are $40 and not $30, plus tip on top for the other options as well (150/250/425.) The trick I recently learned of girls in the club selling 15-1hr multiple times a night, is that they do no touch basic dances, but for the 15min+ they can touch. Will be implementing this actively -sigh- So much missed out money. lmao

Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
Eh, here in Tampa, FL we have reasonably priced rooms but they are so hard to sell sometimes.
3 songs for $100 (We get $75)
15 mins for $150 (We get $100)
30 mins for $300 (We get $195)
1 hr for like $650 or something? (I've never sold an hour room in my entire career of stripping, so I have no idea)
We also have these retarded dance specials where it's:
3 songs for $30, in which they get 3 heavily reduced songs and a free drink or a t-shirt/drink cozy/hat/beanie whatever we have or the same deal for 3 for $60 in the private room. We only get to keep half so if you sold it on the floor you keep $15 and $30 if you sold it in the back. It's complete dog shit as when the special comes on it blows your chances of selling an actual room for the customer being all like "WOW, 3 for $60 I'm IN!" and the club shits on your sales for $45 at least while they technically are collecting more than they would with the normal 3 for $100.
We are a full contact, topless with pasties, liquor bar with $20 dances on the floor which people rarely do anymore. We typically only sell the back rooms and those are either ridiculously easy to sell or it's like ripping teeth.
It's just finding the guy past all of the Florida losers (which is nearly impossible) and convincing him that you're worth the money.
I usually make around $200 - $300 on a normal night.
I could make more bartending or even serving... I need a new place.
Any suggestions? Haha!
-
Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
$20 no touching dance
$40 boob touching dance
3-for-$100
We have 15 min for $130, but I do not offer those because the house keeps $30 and I can make $100 in 9 minutes with a 3-for.
$250 HH, and I always ask for a 100%+ tip
$400 hour and I try not to sell these because house takes $100 so I'm only making $300, if I can just sell HHs and 3-fors and continuously ask for 100%+ tips on top then I'd rather do that.
I also always ask for 100% tip for everything I do.
-
Re: how much does your CR/VIP cost and how do you sell it?
Around here dances are 20 bucks and you keep it all.
If a club has rooms, they are usually around 400 per hour and you keep all the money as well.
