Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
Okay, I like to have fun with my outfits at work. Tonight I'm thinking about doing the school girl thing. Plaid dress, frilly socks, nothing too extreme... My question is, would my attire turn you off or doesn't it really make a difference?? Do you like a dancer in a plain outfit such as a plain red, black, white, etc.. (one color) dress?? Do you think girls dressing up in theme outfits is too stripper-ish or silly?

Extreme outfits are turn off for me. I don't like the school girl outfit. Had a gorgeous girl dressed in a gi-joe style stripper outfit last night that I met. The outfit wasn't a turn on for me. She changed and put on a "normal" outfit and I went gaga for her. She made more after the outfit change.

A dancer's dress is perhaps more important in a club where the girls seem to be wearing the same kinds of outfits, and especially if there is not a lot of variety in the look of the ladies.
I like to see a lady in costume, especially if it is Kaiarose. I do notice when a dancer changes costume. Sometimes a later outfit is just the right thing to grab my attention and get me to grab the dancer's attention.

I'm with Joe's first sentence. I generally prefer something simple (doesn't mean skimpy, just not elaborate) that gives me a fair idea of whats really going on. Though obviously that's probably not the smartest move in an economic sense, it is what I like.
Every now and then I'll see someone in a nurse/schoolgirl/etc. costume that really flips my switch. There's no rhyme or reason, sometimes I'm just in the mood.

I'm not a big fan of the schoolgirl outfit personally but I don't look at what is being worn for that long. If you come over and talk to me and can carry on a conversation that is what will get me to buy a dance. I do like to look at the "stripper costumes" more so though. I like things that are skimpy and that you are either going to see in a club or at home and that is the only place you'll find them. For some reason the boy cut shorts and a white tank top cut off just a bit below the chest get me every time.

Re: Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
I rarely pay much attention to what the dancers are wearing. Most of them wear skimpy outfits anyway. If you were to ask me what a dancer was wearing the night before I couldn't tell you. It's all a blur to me. :drunk:

Definitely agree. Its not all the time, but sometimes I will go with an extreme outfit. It does depend on my mood. Personally, I like the "normal" outfits 90+% of the time.
Having said that, I don't remember when I went for an extreme outfit. My guess is that it was the vgf in the cheerleeder outfit or the girl on friday with the gi-joe bikini, though I only noticed the gi-joe hat. I'm not even sure a bikini outfit is that extreme.

First, some basic math. Asian + schoolgirl outfit = BANK.
As always, with outfits, I offer this caveat: if I had zero interest in you before, the outfit won't make a difference in that outlook. That said, for a dancer "on the cusp" of my interest, the right outfit (particularly a form fitting schoolgirl outfit) will definitely get my attention and probably warrant at least a trial dance or two.
The outfits that will absolutely stop me from lapping a dancer: camouflage (how is this sexy?), football player (sorry, I don't fantasize about banging Larry Fitzgerald), hard leather bikinis (compresses the breasts) or anything with metal studs (ouch!), anything involving facepaint (a clown? really?) or anything that looks too complicated to take off during a private dance.
I still strongly recommend to any dancer that does rock the schoolgirl outfit this bit of advice (to paraphrase Joe Cocker): You can leave your skirt on! Trust me on this one.

Getting creative with your costumes is one of the best ways to be noticed and can really help you sell dances. If you keep trying new ideas and preferably try to run with non cliche ideas, you stand the greatest potential to sell the most and bring in new customers.
Hope this helps

Re: Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
Thanks for posting this.. I was wondering the same thing.
When I worked, I have never seen girls dress up in costumes. Other than the typical school-girl (some girls mixed it with a teacher or an office job). I always wanted to wear a feminine football costume with like pigtails! But I think I would be rather looking odd to the rest.

Does the outfit make YOU feel confident and sexy? I think that's the question that needs to be answered first in terms of evaluating a costume's usefulness in dealing with the general male population.
As for me personally, it might only make a difference if I'm on the fence about you, ala CP.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the schoolgirl outfit... It's classic, naughty and I feel I pull it off with my little perky boobies :)
But some guys, as you can see, just don't dig themed outfits. So yeah, I posted this to see what the majority do like... so far it's a close tie..

Re: Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
I'm a fan of the naked look. Just add a sexy, unpretentious personality, sprinkle in a little humor or naughty whispers and stir. :D
Though I will say that there is something about a girl wearing blue jeans and nothing else that gets to me. I've only seen this a couple of times in 15 years but no doubt it got me spending each time. Hopefully the money they made allowed them to buy outfits for their following shifts. ;)

Wear a school girl outfit for part of the night. The guys that really dig it will be lined up for dances.
Change to something else. The guys that prefer that or are not into the school girl look will line up for dances then.
Win/win.
I prefer Kisca's idea of teacher or office worker.

Hopefully, I will get to see you in, as well as out of, more than one outfit. :-*

Well I guess since you will be making a special trip out, I can do that for ya :) I have this sexy lil black latex dress that seems to be popular with the boys, red, blue, white, grey, pink, long, short... you get the point.. We can't wear 2 piece outfits though :(

Re: Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
The attire a dancer has on is a big selling point for me. I probably would stay away from the "school girl" look.

The outfits generally don't matter to me as long as they are well-fitting and nothing extreme or over-the-top. My personal preference is actually for more conservative club attire. I am not at all into the schoolgirl outfits. Probably primarily because I am a teacher of kids between 12 and 18, allowing myself to be titillated by women pretending to fit in that age range would trouble me.

Exactly.
I love a good outfit and usually tip extra for the effort. But if I have no interest in you, it won't matter.

Re: Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
I have to say I'm a schoolgirl outfit guy. My ATF reeled me in with her look. But that's the thing, for me you have to be spinnerish and also look the part. I mean there are many girls that are beautiful, but the schoolgirl thing doesn't work for them, IMO.
Sad

Re: Does a dancer's dress attire matter when deciding to get a dance or not?
I'm certainly stimulated by sexy/erotic outfits (on a sexy body). I don't think the theme matters much (e.g., schoolgirl vs. police woman vs. nurse) - any of these will flip my switch if the dress or skirt is tight and tiny, the outfit includes stockings (especially fishnet stockings) and the top is tight and exposes cleavage. Thigh-high boots and black dominatrix-style outfits are a HUGE turn on for me. Any sex-slave outfit like Princess Leia's is also a HUGE turn on.
