How are Las Vegas clubs in January
I going to Las Vegas for New Years eve and am thinking of staying on there a few weeks to do some work during the expos that are starting first week of January. I was there a couple fo years ago and only made minimual money.. comparable to what I make in south Florida.. I am wondering if anyone knows if it is still ok or if has been good or what your thoughts are.

Theyre slower after New Years but it's still Vegas. If someone wants to work here they should visit a few clubs and see what theyre like before they try to work here. Every club is different and has a different vibe and customer base it seems.
You also want to research clubs so you dont end up working at sapphire or one of the clubs that promise the world and gives you a smalltown!

I wouldn't work Vegas at the beginning of January. Sure, the Consumer Electronics Show is there... but so is a large majority of the adult industry for AVN's & InterNext. A good portion of the CES attendees get tickets to the AVN expo (AEE) & attend many of the parties (usually at nightclubs) rather than hanging out at the strip clubs.

^^^ I agree. Most people are still recuperating from Christmas and visiting family. Things don't pick up again till mid-January. The major conventions haven't been too promising the last couple of years. I make most of my money off of guys coming home from over seas and tourists.
Plus the costs to work out here have gotten higher...Business license is $200 and if you've had one before and didn't cancel it in time, you will be fined $100 for every year you missed on TOP of the $200. Sheriff's Card is $45 and then you have to have your tip out BEFORE you can work. Tip out varies from club to club, but expect to have anywhere from $70-$135 (for night shifts)depending on if you go onstage of offstage and what time you go in at. So your looking at a good $350 just to get started, just in case you didn't already know.
