What do you stock in your fridge?
Right now for me nothing.. I'm about to get a small personal fridge cause I don't trust my roommates and their bad habits.. But if I did it would mostly be fruits, vegetables, fat free milk, cheese, whole white bread, with some nutella on top of the fridge. I stop buying peanut butter and jam cause I been hating the texture and taste the last year or so.. But once in a while I will buy a small, small container of triple fudge chocolate when the week is bad. What do you keep? Also just for fun if you live with someone/s what one item do you claim only for you and do you hide it?

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
I know how you feel. I hate having to share a fridge with roommates...

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
i happily live alone, but when i have company they always complain about how i "have nothing to eat". I have a bad sugar intolerance issue so i can't eat much in the way of processed foods or fruits. My refrigerator usually consists of almond milk, eggs, spinach, a shit ton o cheese, my latest rice/beans concoction, and nail polish (they keep better in there).

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
Just went to Costco and stocked my fridge with the following...
almond milk
a brick of sharp cheddar cheese
eggs
celery
grapes
bacon
strawberries & raspberries (frozen so they're technically "next door" in the freezer)
6-pack of Michelob Ultra
deli meat
tortilla shells
yogurt
spinach salad stuff
water bottles
carrots

As long as I have everything I need for my salads, I'm happy.

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
Muscle milk, water, a whole slew of diet drinks, gnocchi, peppers, peppadew peppers, yogurt, fat-free cottage cheese, pears, turkey sausage, ground turkey, milk and some leftover brick oven pizza from tonight.
I feel like I am the guy with a fridge full of condiments and pickled vegetables. At least I will be in a few months after I have settled into my new home more. I can spend ages in the sauce aisle at the grocery store.
Thank gods that I live in a Polish neighborhood. I can get a nice, healthy home cooked Polish meal for six dollars if I don't feel like cooking. If I didn't I'd be living off of "OMG! I am starving and need to eat now!!!" Big Macs.

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
I also live with someone, but he barely ever eats. And I mean RARELY so pretty much everything I stock up on I get to eat.
1% milk, clementines, hummus, celery, broccoli, cheddar cheese, yogurt, and a truckload of condiments and rats in the freezer for the scaley members of the household. Mmm...rat ;)

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
My fridge is always bare! I eat out of boredom so I don't keep any food around the house for snacking. If I want to eat I have to leave the house to get something. I do keep diet cokes and some juices for mixing drinks. Thats it!

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
Everything:
Rib-eye and NY strip steaks
Beef roasts and stew meat
Whole chickens and assorted pieces
Pork roasts and chops
Hot and mild sausages
Shrimp and fish (though usually bought fresh)
Other meats (hot dogs, bacon)
Milk
Juices (OJ, AJ, cranberry)
Bread (Italian and whole wheat)
Other carbs (pastas, rice, potatoes)
Fresh vegetables (carrots, corn, string beans, onions, celery, lettuce, tomatoes, others)
Fruits (apples, oranges, pears)
Other dairy (yogurt, various cheeses, sour cream)
Deli meats
List goes on - I have children and we cook every day, so fresh meats, veggies and cheeses play a big part at our dinner table.
And I won't even go into what is in our cupboards.

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
Me and roommate have what is possible among world's smallest fridges, so it's pretty limiting. It's usually this:
eggs
milk
cheeses (mozzarella, fresh cheese, cream cheese, emental or similar)
fresh yeast (for making bread)
vegetables (broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, mushrooms, green beans...usually what's in season: we have great farmers markets)
fruits (mandarines, clementines, bananas, mango, strawberries, blackberries, again, what's in season and suits my fancy)
occasionally some chicken (i tend to forget meat) or fresh fish
proscuitto
olives, usually black
family's wine
mustard
yogurt
Other stuff is in cupboards, like dried beans, canned tomatoes, pureed tomatoes, olive oil, flour, etc, etc.
Oh, and herb spices grow in the pots in the kitchen. ;D

Re: What do you stock in your fridge?
Fat free soy milk (or rice milk), fat free yogurt, salad mix, various fruit and veg, fresh ginger, minced garlic, frozen mixed berries, frozen mixed Asian stir fry veg, firm tofu and/or chicken breasts and/or tuna and/or kangaroo, apple-carrot-ginger juice. Wow, that looks really healthy. My cupboard looks really healthy too, but that's because whenever I eat junk I eat it all at once. Or it's fast food.
