What do you do to get yourself out of a depressing mood when your having a bad night? Words of Wisdom that keep you going?
Visualize your goals and think "Every single dollar is getting me closer to that goal and I want it so bad that I'm going to get out from this negative mood, because it's not making me money and I'm here to make money. I'm a money magnet". It's all in your head. What you concentrate on, you attract.
I also like to repeat like a mantra "Quitters never win and winners never quit". Sometimes I go and sit in the bathroom for 5 minutes and just breathe deeply, medidate and think about things that I'm grafetul of.
Download positive affirmations or motivational podcasts to your iPod and listen to them.
But DON'T get drunk or bitch with the other girls in the DR. It will just drag you deeper to that negative hole.
i keep a copy of the bhagavad gita in my work bag, and i'll read from that. it's probably not ideal inspirational reading for the average stripper though.
I usually just say to myself "Well beautiful, you're here - might as well make the most of it.".
Thinking like that really works for me...
i try to remain positive even if im thinking of another night where i made a bunch of money, because customers can tell if your in a bad mood. tonight i didnt do woohoo great by any means, but i stuck it out, and didnt walk out of the club owing tip out like a lot of the other girls. i try to pretend that every customer can potentially make my night and i need to be in a good mood for it to happen. its hard and there were times when i hated going on stage but i got tipped more towards the end of the night because i remained upbeat, and basically acted goofy with the customers instead of being frustrated with how little im making. i rocked the air guitar on stage to keep me in a good mood ; )

Take a 15 minute break if you have to and surf the web on your phone or something. Try not to talk to any one that has a bad attitude it will rub off on you.
Find a few moments to pull yourself together. Go fix your make up, hair or change outfits.
Then get back to work. ;)

I have a collection of quotes from SW on my phone that I can read over if I'm having a slow night - things to try, lines to remember, etc.
I also go upstairs, sit in a corner and do a little meditation to breathe out my negative and to breathe in my positive - it sounds silly, but I am a huge fan of breathing meditation, and it allows your brain to take a break from a cycle of negative thoughts.
