No, its realistic.
Re: Tacky wedding apparel
Perhaps, I used to wonder why attractive women dated ugly men (rarely do I see the opposite). That is until people started questioning why I want the guy I do (though I really don't think I'm all that hot). My personal experience is when I see a very hot person marrying someone not, especially age differences, I usually think gold digger, desperate man.
Re: Tacky wedding apparel
He's not that much older, maybe 35, she's 25.
The cake had matching colors to his outfit, purple and white--which means she almost certainly picked it. She does look genuinely happy, so you never know--and looks aren't everything.
Still, it's just too cheesy. I predict imminent failure. }:D
Re: Tacky wedding apparel
You never know. Pretty much everyone said me and my husband would be divorced before a year was up because we are outwardly SO different. But we've been together 13+ years now, married for 10 1/2. So THERE :P

Yeah but your husband doesn't look like a huge dork. ;D
Nothing wrong with being outwardly different! More power to you both.
Now I am wondering if you know who this girl is. I think she started at that club after you left, though.
Re: Tacky wedding apparel
When you say he's a big dork do you mean nerdy? I love nerdy men and prefer them over any other type of men. Least favorite are burly, hairy men, yuck. If he's a nerd maybe she feels the same way.
Re: Tacky wedding apparel
No, he doesn't look like a nerd. I wish I could post a picture, you would see what I mean by 'dork', though perhaps you might choose a different word. The wedding outfit makes him look way worse, though.
But it would be extremely cruel to post it, not to mention probably illegal!
