What to wear to audition?
and i dont mean what kind of bra/gstring. Ive already got a few different outfits for that, but like, WHAT do i wear when i walk in the door?! im so confused and it seems like everyone else is only asking about lingerie. i naturally have a very innocent, ethereal look. I was thinking maybe just jeans, converse, and a cute tight pink top so that it looks like i just came from the highschool (which i, did, lol ;)) or do i need to dress it up no matter what my look is? its a very upscale gentlemans club so i know i cant go in looking trashy, but can anyone give me a good idea on what to wear? or what NOT to wear?
Re: What to wear to audition?
Don't wear what you would wear on stage, but also don't wear what you would wear if you were just hanging out at a friend's house. Your outfit sounds fine - maybe a pair of nice shoes/heels instead of the Converse if the club is more upscale though? Really though, the outfit you wear to walk in the club doesn't matter too much as long as it is flattering, shows off your body, and your face/hair are done up nicely as well.
Re: What to wear to audition?
I'd go in something that makes you feel super confident and sexy. High heals, tight fitted jeans and a top that draw attention to my titties always does the trick for me =]
Re: What to wear to audition?
I went to a new club once in my pyjamas (clean!) ugg boots and a hoodie! hehe! i like to be in comfortable and loose clothing before/after a shift (and at the time i couldnt find my jogging bottoms!)
But yeah, just general day-to-day wear is usually good, i was always very conscious of leaving the club at 4/5am and being in highheels etc with a purse full of money. My club was on the main party strip so there were always drunk people around and i used to have to walk and then wait for a lift/taxi after id finished so id didnt want to draw attention to myself looking glamourous, so i always always always went to/from work in flat shoes that i knew i could run in. And i always thought it was much less likely of being spotted/heckled by customers who had been in the club afterwards if i was dressed as my good friend Jess used to say ''like a hobo!'' hehe

Re: What to wear to audition?
I just went from a "party"/bikini kind of strip club to a strict gentleman's club where they only allow lingerie and encourage the girls to wear skirts/wraps, so I dressed appropriately when I walked in the door, too.
Once you've got the job and you're comfortable, jeans and Uggs and hoodies are great -- you want to be cozy while you're waiting to check out. Like any "normal" interview, though, first impressions are important. I'd recommend something dress-casual, like nice jeans with heels instead of converse and a blouse or sweater instead of a tshirt. If it's an upscale club, they'll spend some time talking to you and going over your application before they scoot you on the stage, and you'll want to look nice.
Re: What to wear to audition?
You don't want to look sloppy walking in the door, but as a general rule, they are judging you on stage, not on your street clothes.
Dress a little sexy (on the classy side of sexy for an upscale club) and make sure your hair and makeup look good. So jeans are fine, as long as they are tight or form fitting (no ripped, dirty or baggy jeans), tops should be sexy (ish), so again, fairly tight, clean, show a bit of cleavage, and shoes should be heels. Seriously. Carry a bag with your costume, shoes, ID, makeup and hairbrush (along with any other bits you need for an audition) and consider making sure the bag has two zippers so you can put a padlock on it.
Most important of all - walk in with confidence and friendliness - this will make a bigger impression than all the clothes in the world can!
