Dual Sim phones
not sure if this is in the right spot... feel free to move it...
I noticed a lot of you girls have enough business/regulars to warrant having a phone dedicated to customers, but do any of you just use dual sim phones?
A lot of these that are made are low cost knock-offs, but there are some good ones out there to be had. (I think Nokia just released a new one.)
For those that don't know and don't feel like googling: Dual sim phones hold two sim cards, so you can run two phone numbers from the same phone. As you're making a call or sending a text you just choose which sim to use. Incoming calls of course are based on what number the other person dialed.
This seems like it would simplify things for a lot of you instead of juggling two phones, two house chargers, two car chargers, etc.
Sim cards are made for GSM technology, and only two main carriers in the US use this, which are AT&T and T-Mobile. You can get two cards from the same company or do one of each.
I personally live so far away from civilization that my T-Mobile phone doesn't get signal in a few places, so I'm simply going to get a cheap AT&T prepaid phone and use it for emergencies or to talk to other AT&T customers.
I'm also buying a knock off because I don't want to spend more than $100 on something until I know I love having it. Plus, all the cute phones I like (Nokia Twist, LG Lotus) are always for CDMA technology carriers and I like having their GSM counterparts.
Anyways, I'm rambling, my real intention was to throw the idea out there and maybe help someone out who may hate keeping track of multiple phones. (I did use search first but came up with nothing)
