Making the most out of the night...

i seem to have this problem on busy fri/sat nights
i seem to either be doing just podiums, or just dances because i dont have the energy and drive to do both.
other girls sometimes do like 11 podiums and 9 shows and that but i always get exhausted, my feet hurt, cant be bothered whatever....
so if im having a bad private dance night my total might end up being 2 podiums and 3 dances so i hardly end up with more than 300.
then i see girls who go like energiser bunnies, and after 10 hours they still go up to everyone and try close sales and do podiums, at like 3 in the morning when i hide in the changeroom or hang out at the bar.
do you space out your night? how do you keep going and going for 7 hours or more making the most out of work in a busy club [preferably without the use of coke, i dont need an 'easy' alternative]

Eat a good-sized healthy meal before work, and bring lots of snacks that can get you energized throughout your shift. I like to duck into the dressing room for a snack and sit down whenever I've already approached all the customers in the club and there's no one new for me to talk to. This way, I don't stand around looking bored by the bar or anything either, and it gives me a chance to re-energize and look up some hustle notes for when someone new comes in. Keep yourself hydrated (water, juice even) and don't overexert yourself with dances. Mine are pretty low-key - no crazy moves or anything, just very sensual with lots of eye contact and caressing. It keeps me form getting drained from doing a lot of dances.

I have to agree with Shanna. I always try to eat something before going to work, preferably with a lot of protein & MUFA, which takes longer to digest. I tend to get grumpy when I'm hungry. And I always keep at least some granola bars or something like that in my locker. Gatorade is also good.
And I save all my crazy stuff for the stage, and even though I dance to metal (added Ministry for something different last night, but usually stuff from Megadeth, Pantera, you get the idea of the speed of the music) I find the downbeat & move very slowly to that when onstage.

thanks girls, good idea, i dont really think the eating through. plus i get over it....... i feel id rather jump off a cliff than have to start a conversation over with some braindead jackass so i dont really end up approaching people towayds the end of the night, even though i switched to later, shorter shifts

im getting a head start on the food related tonight, see how we go.
its gonna be sat night and i dont wanna go home with 200 bux!!
does anyone have more tips i could use?

i tried last night, did heaps of stage and a few shows and coz was eating and drinking gatorade i felt better than last night
however i still wanted to piss off as soon as clock hit 3am even though there woulda been money out there
