Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I get a weekly check from Streamate but I'm thinking about switching my method of payment. I don't have a bank account but I use a pre-paid debit card which works good for me. What is the cheapest payout option and any experiences with either Payoneer or i-payout? What's the difference between the two? I know i-payout could put funds onto my debit card, but it takes 4-12 business days apparently. I'd get a paper check a lot quicker than that. Any thoughts?

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
Payoneer is EXTREMELY expensive. I used it because i like automatically getting paid, but thats a very costly option.
I rather wait 2-3 days for for direct deposit, or a few days for a paper check.
-
Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I actually like payoneer
I didn't think they where all that expensive
5 for instant
and then monthly maintenance fees
that i dont remember the exact on.
-
Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
first of all,
*they take 5$ from your deposit.
*then they take about $3.50 for an atm fee ---> and of course the atm takes its fee's as well.
then charge you $2 per month for account maintance.
Now I get about 4 diffrent places sending me money there....are you telling me this isnt expensive?
its rape.

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
^^^^ if i caculate me getting 4 deposits and withdrawing it 1 time , in 1 month
thats 25$ + to get my own money....
Now think about it.
if it was just one deposit, 1 withdrawl, 1 month = thats about $9.50 to take my own money out!!!!

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
A few sites support paying with paxum.com and this card have lower fees than payoneer (is also mastercard and from same bank, choice bank of belize, but eventually less fees). So check if your site(s) supports paxum and in that case, that save you some $$ from payoneer, but not many sites support it (yet). Of course any of these cards can die like epassporte at any time and if happens, don't blame me for advice one or other :)
About i-payout , its name really is emc2payouts.com (powered by i-payout), that's becoming also popular, have many options and also an own VISA prepaid card "Globe" something, not tried it so can't say much, but I may add it in future as payment option to my site (chatgf.com).

payoneer is expensive from what I have heard, since its only available to americans and you already have a debit card you might not wnat that option.
You might want to get a bank account it helps a lot with future financial goals. I-payout has fees you want to see what they are since they vary from country to country.
If your currently getting check in the mail from streamate what about it your unhappy with ?

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
Yeah, I hate the $5 fee from payoneer. When I work on streamate, I just opt for a check by mail and it comes like clockwork every Saturday to my place. I also like getting pay stubs in case I need to show proof of employment to any place. Then, I just cash it directly at my bank or deposit it and use the free debit card through my bank.

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I use Payoneer as a Canadian because:
1. Checks take forever to get to me, usually a week+ (which makes no sense because I'm in BC and most of them are sent out of Seattle!)
2. My bank will not let me cash it. I have to wait 5 business days before the money shows up in my bank account. ::)
3. Wire transfers cost $15-$30, which is more than Payoneer's fees cost me.

I wish I had a bank account. I've had a bank account since I was 14 and I've had excellent credit since I was 18. But a few years ago I made a mistake and I took an adult job and traveled to Miami for a week to do this boat show and be some sort of dancer/eye candy. I was given a $5,000 check at the end of the week and I went home and brought it to my bank. They put it on hold for 30 days to *investigate* it since it was a lot of money. The check cleared 30 days later and it was fine. I spent the money and 6 months later my bank called me and said the check was a counterfeit. It was the banks mistake to not realize that it wasn't real when they added the funds to my account. Six months later, they called to tell me that it was a fake check and I had 24 hours to bring them back the money. I was only able to pay back $1,000 so I was arrested and was sent to jail. I payed it off but I'm not eligible for a bank account now. I am red flagged for another 3 years and I can't get a bank account for that long. So now I have to sign my checks over to my mom but I plan to move soon and won't have anyone to help me cash my checks. I will have to go to check cashing places and pay about $80 to cash the check.
I was thinking about using i-payout since I can link my pre-paid debit card to them but I was told once the funds are placed into my e-wallet account, it will take about 4-12 days for the funds to process and show up on my card. I might stick with a paper check but my mom is not always available to cash it when I get it.

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I agree about the fees associated with Payoneer being ridiculous, but I just like having that same-day pay option, and I'm not a very patient person when it comes to waiting for money.
I love the PayPal debit card, and I just think it's a shame that PayPal has a stick up their ass about adult transactions...because it'd be so cool and convenient if every cam site could offer PayPal as a payment method.
I currently have I-Payout/E-Wallet selected as my payment method on Webcams.com, and I've been paid once via this method only because I hardly ever log onto Webcams anymore. :P I remember that my payment was sent out one day early, which was cool, and it didn't take too long for funds to reach my bank account. I'm like $4 or $5 away from payout on Webcams, so maybe I'll log into Webcams tonight using ManyCam while logged into AdultWork.
I try to avoid check as my payment method whenever possible, because mailmen/mailwomen screw up the mail sometimes, I like getting my money immediately, and one of the tellers at my bank irritates me sometimes, and I don't like getting stuck with her whenever I go there to deposit money. :P

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
Hey Kandi [Ladies]
:)
If you [consider to] use the pre-paid card (Visa Globe Wallet) through I-Payout, you will recieve your card number, pin number, expiration date and cvv code instantly on the sign up page. You can use this information immediately to make digital purchases ( i.e online or over the phone) as well as to (first) transfer money from your eWallet (this is instant with no delays) into your Globe Wallet pre-paid debit account. Also on Streamate paydays, funds will be available for immediate use as soon as they are deposited by accounting on that Friday.
Transaction fees are minimal, however there is an initial $ 19.95 activation fee to get the card (which may be worth it to you, if you are looking for immediate access to your money in the long run). Besides the normal percentages I-Payout deducts in processing payment from Streamate, (1% I think...See I-Payout for specific fees), the only other fees incurred to use the pre-paid card is $0.52 per purchasing transaction and an $2.50 ATM withdrawal fee if you decide to use it for that.
Only draw back is, it takes several days to get your physical card in the mail after you sign up for it (10-15 days). So you would only be able to make digital purchases until you get it. But, if you regularly make purchases at a certain store, and the staffs knows you there, all you may have to do is show them your license, give them your Globe Wallet card number and they can process your payment at the register.
Coo thing about I-payout is that you can decide how to distribute your money, whether it be through more than one prepaid card...
Initially getting verified through I-Payout may be "same or next day" from the time you send in your verifying documents (license and required forms)...
I just signed up for this pre-paid card a couple weeks ago and its working out okay so far.

Payoneer is definitely not only available to Americans - Me and my girls in the UK all have Payoneer accounts -
It is however true that it's expensive. The fees have since put me off using them .

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
Payoneer is a broad company. I dont think its possible to sign up directly with payoneer is it? just affiliates of it. Thats why theres so many different views on the charges even when the people are from the same country.

Then How do I sign up with it I wonder about the fees but since it has the mastercard logo on it and its a debit card that could come in handy .
I get it I got the sign up link in streamayray/cams.com https://payouts.payoneer.com/partner...ult/index.aspx
I went to payoneer.com and assumed it was only for americans.

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
Kandi, I'm sad for you with that story. That is completely unreasonable that you have such a thing on your record when it wasn't even your fault.
Have you tried opening up a joint account? Maybe with your mom?
I once had these fraudulent charges in my account, SEVERAL being posted, and my bank wanted me to stop payment on each charge, 40 bucks a piece, and then some other ridiculousness I forget because it was so long ago. Anyways, I said, "Fuck off & die" to my bank and the next bank acct I tried to open denied me and hurt my feelings.
Not that long after, I opened a joint with my husband.
Maybe if mom opened up an account, and then put you on it? I've no idea. But I bet you could get one!

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
What is the name of the Bank Streamate's uses.. Cause if there is a location near me I may just opt for paperchecks.

Support always told me they have problems with any bank or something it was crazy they hold my money more as 5ooo$ every two weeks for 3-4 days , about withdrawals fees:
-$2,499.46 FEE -$12.25
-$14.43 FEE -$3.55
-$774.94 FEE -$6.21
-$1,457.46 FEE -$8.60
-$116.60 FEE -$3.91
So iam back with payoneer and thanks god for payoneer :) PeterK

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
Payoneer is weird. Everyone seems to be charged a different price in fees. I use payoneer for 1 company only. It is free for my money to be deposited because the company pays the $5. I only really use it to pay rent, grocery store, other bills. I never use it at the atm because I have no need to do so, and it's working out fine for me.
In the beginning I did use it at the atm and the fees were really high.

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I like check with SM. I'm in the US, get it every Saturday for the previous week. Does anyone know if around the holidays they experience a big delay with checks like IMLIVE supposedly does? Imlive, however, is coming from Canada. My SM checks come from the US.
-
Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I use my card at a local zero-fee atm which helps a bit. It's at a employee owned grocery chain, but I also think most credit union atms are free to use as well.
-
Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
I'm surprised I'm not seeing more complaints about ipayout. Have yall seen the fees on that thing? It's insane! They even charge for phone support! That's ridiculous!
-
Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
So any more reports on i-payout? I hear someone say good someone say bad on i-payout... I wanted to add as pay mode in my site, but not know much myself about it yet

Re: Payoneer, i-payout, check?
