Hi all, this is a cracking site, just wondering if anyone is from the UK? The format of clubs seems to be a bit different in the US and I'm just a little nervous about applying to start :)

Welcome around!
Im in the uk London, welcome and feel free to ask anything x
I'm from the UK but I'm in France now. We have a similar system to a lot of UK clubs I think.
Hi there! I started out in the UK, working in London as well as cornwall, and have since moved to Canada and am considering doing a little work in NYC...you are absolutely right, the format is very very different between the UK and North America.
The main difference is in the separation of "stage" and "house" girls. In the UK you generally work for one club only, doing stage and VIP, and making money from the VIP side. In North America, you are either a "house girl", doing only VIP and usually at one or two local clubs, or "stage" (also known as circuit) where you are contracted to an agency and booked for stage shows at a range of clubs, and paid for stage shows (as well as tips and the option of selling lap dances).
Other than that - everything else is across the board - hustling tips, body business, etc. Costuming will change from club to club.
Where in the UK are you working? Feel free to PM me with any questions!
Hi everyone! Well I've researched the job quite a bit now, I guess I just need a bit of encouragement to go ahead and contact a club.
This goes for girls who want to start dancing anywhere, regardless of location: visit the clubs you're interested in. No amount of reviews or information will give you a better idea of what the club is like than you going in. You can see what kind of girls work there, what they do on stage, the clientele, maybe even chit chat with one of the girls to get a better idea of what it's like working there. That's really the best way to choose a club.
^^^ agreed - I used to live in Leeds, but never danced there. Look for clubs that have the best reviews, or that are a good location for you (figure out how you will get to and from the club) and then go in and just hang out for a few hours to get the vibe of the place. One thing I will say - don't expect the girls to talk about how the club is - its not a bitchy thing, but I don't want to waste my time talking about the club to a potential dancer when I could be making money elsewhere. If you wanted, you could offer them the cost of a dance or two to sit with you for the song and talk about it.
Then after you have made a decision (and consider location, business, cost of dances and the vibe) call your two favorites (or three) and ask them about how they work (schedules, house fee, tip out, costumes, rules, etc) and audition at both. Then you will have all the info you need to make a good decision about where you want to start.
Im from UK, Have worked in Manchester, Bradford and South Wales :) PM me if you have any q's im always happy to help! :D xx
Im from the Uk and I've worked in Leeds, York and Manc best thing to do is go in the clubs and have a look round see if you like them and will feel comfortable working there. Some clubs in leeds have a long dresses rule until 12 then you can wear what you want after 12 just double check with the manager before you start what you can and can not wear. Good luck :-) xo
p.s.there is also a website i think its called strip uk and if you type the area you looking for it will list the clubs in that area and the rating people have given the club. xo
Thanks for the advice everyone, I've ended up going for a small club in a nearby town. Went to check it out and chat about working there and it seems really nice. Got a friend along too and we got a dance together which was a laugh, had a great time and we haven't even started yet! *excited* >.<
Eek it's our first night tonight! Really quite nervous about doing a dance for the first time, but if i accept i'll probably make a fool of myself at some point it can only get better right?
Woop, our first night went great, lucky we found 2 young'uns that took a liking to us and paid most of my wage that night! Definitely need to work on my hustle though. I will be frequenting hustle hut from now on. Thanks again everyone :)
