Re: The ABC's of Stripping
I totally thought you meant ABC as in Always Be Closing, but this list is super helpful too! (Although I have to say that I don't particularly like the undercutting in F)
Re: The ABC's of Stripping
Hey we are independent contractors we can charge what we like. besides the house gets their 7$ for that extra dance. its worth it to me to give that extra 7 to make that 100$..and in the clubs nowadays where extras are the norm it lets the custy think they are getting a good deal and I don't have to give any more than i am comfortable with. You can always make them think they are getting a good deal meanwhile they are paying the same as all the rest, that would be funny too, lol
Re: The ABC's of Stripping
You undercutting leads to guys expecting to pay less/get free dances, and that isn't fair to other dancers. Not to mention you're undercutting yourself when there are so many customers who would pay full price. Just my 2 cents though.
Re: The ABC's of Stripping
Really love this! I'm getting back into dancing regularly after a 5 or so month long hiatus and this is just perfect!
Thanks!
Re: The ABC's of Stripping
I was also a little put off by the undercutting but the op is right, doing it this wait makes it worth it. If she was discounting single dances that would be pretty bad.. I still wouldn't do it but I think it's a good deal for the dancer

Re: The ABC's of Stripping
Its hard to make money in my club where there's 7 girls/night and 12 customers on average. I have done well with this sales pitch..i would rather make the 100$ than not make anything at all, or get 2-3 customers who only wanted one dance, after talking to everyone in the room. This way i make sure that every time i hit the VIP its for 100$ and up. I try to hit for quality, not quantity, and at some places its made regular customers out of them. its nice to come in and know that on certain nights, my 100$ is guaranteed and i dont have to beat around the bush to ask for dances, they come in the door and ask ME because they are ready to go!.
Stage tips usually covers the cost of the dance so its no big deal to me, and the house does not care, they get their money. When I am making money everyone gets their tip-out too. its up to the dancer if she wants to give that extra dance and if it helps to make a sale, all the better. Its also up to a dancer if she wants to sit with a customer for 2 hours at his table, chat, and charge him $$ to do that too.
UPSELL!! They aren't coming to vip with me unless they are spending at least a 100 and some even go for another 5 dances, making it double worth my while. What's 6 minutes extra of my time to make 200$? not much, i says :D There have been nights where I walked out of the club with 300$ by only talking with 3 customers in 2/3 hrs. Im at the club to work smarter, not harder..
I've never had a guy ask me for a discount on a single dance..not that I would give it to them, they don't deserve it! My 'sample' dance is on the stage and that's about it !! Theres no way I would discount a single dance, its not worth my time or effort to do so. The point of this pitch is to get them to spend MORE not LESS.
At local clubs here the girls are doing way too much for the price of a dance. hardcore grinding, hands-on action, fingering, flashing. It's not like it used to be where custys would come in and just get a dance w/some light grinding.. its hard to compete with these new, young, peppy girls who think that giving the customer more will = more money. It's never like that, unfortunately. The more you give, the more they take and the less they spend, on average. That's like going all the way in the first 30 seconds of a dance instead of taking it nice and sloooow so you extend your VIP time. Unless you too have something to offer like they do, you can't compete in a dirty or shady club. I've been burned way to many nights when I would walk out with 30$ or LESS because I wouldn't lower my standards to compete with extras girls that were literally running the club. After going through this for weeks at a time i stepped up my game but in a different way...and it saved my ass on many nights and guaranteed that I would make money too
The most i am willing to offer to any customer is an extra 3 minutes of my time doing the same dance that I would do for anyone else. At least I don't have to lower my standards and undercut all the others who are out there giving twice as much for the same price of what used to be just a dance. Its a shame what the industry has become but lots of clubs are like this nowadays, good clubs gone bad. Even my 'home' club, the safest club in town, went south after 2008. Some customers want more for their money, and some expect it. An extra dance is no sweat off my back especially when it's paying my bills, and i get to keep my self-respect too. I will negotiate my time and attention but not my self respect.
I've danced for 7yrs, and sure there's a possibility that the custy i am sitting with might drop more than 200 on me, but how far would i have to go to make that money? In other words, how long would i have to sit with him to make that? 3 hours? would he get 'touchy' in the vip cause he feels entitled to it? eek!
Out of all the pitches that I've tried over the years this is the only one that hits with any kind of consistency for me at just about any club I've danced at. and I think that's the secret to making $$ at the club. Find something that works, perfect it, and use it.
One thing I would never do is charge MORE than the cost of a dance. That really would be unfair to everyone else there and the customer wouldn't like it either. Try this pitch one night and you'll see.. We are there to make money $$ this is a sales job and the ones who succeed are the ones that put forth creative effort to do what they can to stay at the top of the game :D
Oh and get your money UPFRONT!!! He knows how much he is spending so have him drop it down before you start, and before you go into another round. its nice not to have to ask for $$ every time a song ends, and you want him to continue, and you'll know exactly how many dances you have lined up for you as soon as the first song starts. GET YOUR MONEY UPFRONT ALWAYS W/EVERY CUSTOMER REGARDLESS, its just good practice

in my club we have over 100 girls a night! and, as you may know, all nights arent busy. sometimes we have 10-20 girls per 1 guy! its tough to make $. but one thing i Never have done is cut out my money, charge less for dances, give discounts.. as a matter of fact, when my dance is done, i tell them, ok 3 songs is $60 + $15 because i have to give $5 to the house for each song so that $75. (its good to still be topless when u say this and cute & girly) and everytime they pay it, sometimes more! and my town is Sllooowwww!!! Never have i not once had a guy say no to the extra i charged him to pay for my dances to the house. and Never have i charged less. but if it works for you, more power to you. but if i find a guy that likes u, you can get whatever you want from him. just gotta find that guy, theres always 1 there who has eyes for you like woah! get him! customers arent happy until they walk out broke.

F - For you, I will make a deal - table dances go for 10$ but I would love to do 5 table dances for 40$ - you get one for free, just because I would love to dance for you. And, if you would rather go where it's private, dances in the VIP go for 25 each, but I would be happy to give you 5 dances for 100$... If you want to, let me know. but don't ask any of the other girls for this deal, they won't do it!!
No and yes. But 'NO' first.
- Only do this as a last resort for a lot of dances if a guy turns you down. We're talking hundreds of dollar here - not $100.
- Never offer it up like it's a regular thing.
Re: The ABC's of Stripping
Love it! I particularly love it as a way to get your mind working - I've taken January off, so tonight I am back and this will help me get back in the right mindset!
As for F (undercutting) - this has come up in a lot of threads...it is standard practice in my club - 1 for $40, 3 for $100. Because it is standard rate, its not really undercutting (I'm not taking away from other girls). Although i would always start with the basic price, and then go for this as a last resort....If it isn't standard practice, I'd be a little more wary of doing it...
But you would never over charge? Are you insane?! (kidding...sort of!) as long as the custy knows what a "normal" dance costs, then why not tell him that you are the best, so you charge $50, not $40, or say that you only do blocks of three dances at a time, no singles? I wouldn't suggest trying it with everyone, because lets face it, you would lose sales...but there are guys that are more than happy to give you a ton of money for nothing extra, as long as you ask the right way...and I doubt that the other girls would care - it makes them seem like a better deal, and it increases the possiblity that the custy will spend the same on them...
