[quote=brownsugardoll;2059072]IPEVO Point 2 View from the website at the moment it's price $69.00
http://www.ipevo.com/prods/Point-2-V...B-Camera/IPEVO
They first made IPEVO POV (Point of view) that's only compatible for Windows and they reduce the price for that $14.99 from the website
http://www.ipevo.com/prods/PoV-USB-Camera/IPEVO
It looks lot similar to the IPEVO Point 2 view that's both Mac and Windows compatible just the difference IPEVO POV is black texture and that one don't come with the little stand and the IPEVO Point 2 View is in grey texture with the little stand to clip on and off.

Ok so i went on amazon and found the ipevo and there is a huge price difference, I have a toshiba so I guess I could run the ipevo pov on windows but I really want the ipevo point 2 instead because i want the mobility of the little stand. Is that silly, should I just but a tripod somewhere? And if so does anyone know of any good sites to point me to..? Also I didnt see anything about a mic for the ipevo so do i need to buy a seperate micophone or did i just miss it..? :O thanks

I don't like the cinema, it autofocuses too much for me. I like that it has tripod mount, though.
I don't like the Orbit AF, because it has no clue where my face is and I have to adjust it anyways, so why shouldn't I just move it. However, mine MAY be defective, so I'll figure that out soon enough. It maintains a really low framerate for me.
I like the c910 the best... but it likes to randomly fail for me. Uhhh. Logitech 9000 is my second choice.
Soon I'm going to get a camcorder with a remote and a motorized tripod. I'm going to try to stuff them into rubber casing so I can have them both together but still looking kind of cute, but we'll see how that goes.

I know the extension stand is just a glorified USB extension cord, so it makes sense that the framerate would lower.. but only if it was really long!
How low was your framerate, mine was like.. 4fps in the same lighting my c910 gets 30fps, without the stick it was 8fps for me. :(
I get 30 without it and 4 or 5 with it which sucks! Looks like I'm in slow motion.
Are they going to replace it for you? If so, I might give them a call! The reason I choose this over the 9000 was for the stand. I can make it work without it, but the stand is so convenient. However, i wish that the stand were a little taller because I need the cam to be eye level or a bit higher. if it's not I loose my neck!

It just depends if will connect to the mic with USB port and how many ports you have available. You can also get more ports hubs if don't have enough room or can if the mic allows to plug it in line one.
You could try if want like a tripod with cam to get one of these http://www.trackercam.com/TCamWeb/index.htm and it does pan/tilt around not sure if can fit the IPEVO on it.
